Iowa WR Matt VandeBerg Breaks Foot

I don't know the trustworthy-ness of the source, but it seems like Iowa's top WR Matt VandeBerg has broken his foot. Not much other news is out there, but regardless this is not good news for Iowa. Their offense was already struggling with him in there, and now they lose one of their top playmakers. If this is true and he's not back by the Michigan game, our trip into Iowa City just got that much more manageable.

I'll bite. That same backup QB put up over 500 yards and just won at Autzen, while vaunted LSU just fired their coach after four games and apparently doesn't have a functional QB. MSU and LSU might both be favored over CU right now on a neutral site, but I bet it would be <10 point line. Also - what about Georgia State? We struggled against CU and they struggled against them... And finally if you actually watch the MSU game, Wisconsin didn't look that good down to down. They dominated a pretty weak MSU offense but when UW was on offense they were getting into 3rd and long frequently and landing Hornibrook moonballs to wide open WRs, which won't happen in the Big House. Massive turnover disparity was the name of the game then.

But all that stuff is touch feely. Just look at the Vegas line. Always, always look at the Vegas line, that's usually all you need to know.

Are we trying to say Colorado beating a bad oregon team that is 2-2 and lost to nebraska as well and has a turd defense coached by a guy we all know can't handle the spread proves colorado is somehow better than a 2-2 lsu and a 2-1 msu both of which have more physical talent?  Because Michigan could very well be the better team but Wisconsin has certainly beaten better teams and proven more so far this season.

Alright?  I don't care how many guys are sitting out.  You don't trail Georgia State in the second half and expect to beat a team loaded with loads of projected NFL talent at every class.

Plus, the Colorado team that showed up the last two weeks has a good chance of beating Wisconsin.  I have no animosity towards Wisconsin, but I'd be glad to load up on it before Saturday.
