Penn State Snowflakes: General Observations

Submitted by LSAClassOf2000 on

This will be the repository for your thoughts which defy categorization but yet still fit neatly into the category of hot take.

Also, people have asked about it, so if you have rebranding ideas and want to call these threads, something else, I am listening.

How do some of these down votes even happen? (OK, I know HOW, so I guess it's really a WHY!?)

How, I mean WHY - do you down vote someone wishing someone else a good day?

Between UM, ND and MSU it's been a really good day. Looks like there's a bunch of bloggers that need to get laid. (Maybe for the first time? That would explain the negativity!)

PS - Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary to all!

Couldn't have asked for a better cfb day... UM beat ped state by 39, wisco beat the shit out of MSU, ND lost, and osu didn't play (I never like seeing them win)

Forgot to mention this in the other threads, but I'll drop it here in the event a few people see it - I will peruse these threads and suggestions for rebranding the "Snowflake" will make it into a thread sometime in this coming week. The people asked, so the we can have a community meeting about it, or the MGoBlog equivalent.

Name is fine. I think we need less Snowflake threads. Look at the number of comments - not too high. This general thread is by far the highest. I think that is because people prefer to discuss their observations in one place and not have to break them apart. I think we would be MUCH better served with one general thread plus maybe one other thread depending on the game (for example last week: Snowflake thread: Is UM running game in trouble?).

is it time to reconsider Field Turf? I'm starting to think it's causing these non contact injuries.

last week Colorado suffered 2 ACL injuries on our turf. today Clark got bit.
