OT Ocarina of Time

Submitted by Florida Blue on

I am thinking of downloading this for my Wii due to multiple suggestions from my fellow mgobloggers. Question can I play it with the wii remote or do I need to spring for a different remote to play it?

I'm 99.9% sure you can play it with just the wiimote. But if it required the numchuck too I wouldn't be shocked. (I still use my N64 for those games honestly)

If you've never played that one before, it's probably my favorite Zelda game ever... it's well done and really good. You have my sympathies when you reach the water temple.

this game is incredible. If you don't cheat and look up how to beat the levels, you are in for 40 hours minimum for beat time. It is insanely hard to figure out some parts.

What? I beat that game in 28 hours the first time without cheats. 9 hours the second time with the cheats.

The 28 hour didn't include finding all the damn bugs or winning the side game where you fly and hit the fruit balloons. The 9 hour did include that.

I was playing with an eight year old most of that time, so we got sidetracked a lot going around getting those bugs trying to get the giant wallet. We also tried that river ride archery thing a lot.

I guess if I had played straight through by myself I could have cut the time in half, but I don't think I could've done it any faster than that.

We're still nowhere near done, stuck in the desert looking for the last piece of the mirror.

I think you either need a Classic Controller or a GameCube controller plugged in to play N64 games. Either way, it tells you on the information page for the game before you download it.

You can't go wrong with what is widely considered the greatest game of all time, though it probably won't seem as groundbreaking as when it first came out.

by Team Teamwork. It's a mash-up album of random indy-ish hip hop and music from The Ocarina of Time. It'll blow your mind if you are of a sufficient nerd rating. My favorite track is 'No Hook' by Jay Z mixed with Meeting the Owl.

Just borrow a gamecube controller from a friend and that should be enough, that way you'll have one more controller like i, i can't believe my friend really thought i was giving him his controller back...

WOW sort of ironic I just downloaded this to have a nastalgic journey down Zelda lane. Still in love with the first two since I was raised on NES, but that said OoT is one of the best games I have ever played. God of War is up there and Tiger Woods 04-05 when those came out. You could play the game 10 times and find something new each time. Amazing.

I love that game. The one big question: in the ending (before it goes back in time again), are adult Link and adult Zelda more than just friends?
