Just saw this on Desmond Howard's Twitter. Hilarious!

That kid is a beast. Some of those kids he wrecked probably were no longer allowed to play by their mothers (or fathers).

It appeared he shoved a kid at least five feet.
September 13th, 2016 at 1:08 AM ^
... had a similar thought, "The moment you realize your kid doesn't have what it takes."
September 13th, 2016 at 12:45 AM ^
He is six inches taller and probably 50 lbs heavier than any other kid out there. It would be like having Leonard Fournette play against eighth graders.
To me that's not a kid being a beast, it's a kid who is either lying about his age or has hit his growth spurt much earlier than other kids and should be playing against older competition.
September 13th, 2016 at 5:35 AM ^
Not his fault he's bigger than his peers. How old are the kids Shaq is supposed to play against?
September 13th, 2016 at 6:52 AM ^
That's Dr. O'Neal now ok

He is literally going out of his way to toss kids half his size to the ground. At that age he needs to be playing with kids his own size.
September 13th, 2016 at 9:22 AM ^
the crazy thing is he's still so much faster than all the other kids
September 13th, 2016 at 9:52 AM ^
That might just be kids slowing down so they don't catch up to him.
September 13th, 2016 at 9:44 AM ^
You're what's wrong with society which is why everyone gets butt hurt over everything. The kid is bigger faster and stronger than everyone his age but that isn't fair? I'm sure you wanted Bernie sanders to get the Democratic nod you turd. I swear this is the worst generation in America right now. Feels entitled to everything but not willing to work for anything.
September 13th, 2016 at 9:55 AM ^
But tell us how you really feel.
September 13th, 2016 at 10:03 AM ^
He's what's wrong with society?
Suggesting the idea that using size as a way to align competitveness balance and saftey in contact youth sports rather than using age is your best example of what's wrong with society?
I want to live in your world, because clearly where I grew up, and the society I live in has a few more egregious concerns.
You're a lucky man.
September 13th, 2016 at 10:38 AM ^
You could have just said: "This is an example of what's wrong with society, where everyone gets butthurt over everything. The kid is bigger faster and stronger than everyone his age but that isn't fair?" and I would have agreed with you.
The other shit you said makes me hope you get a rash on your dick.
September 13th, 2016 at 1:53 PM ^
Exactly. I'm a part of "this" generation and I hate what it has done to sports. I completely agreed with everything he said to start. Then he turned all right wing political about it and that's where he lost me.
September 13th, 2016 at 12:15 PM ^
It's always funny when the older generation says that this is the "worst" generation, because the one who raised us and made us the way we are was the previous generation..
September 13th, 2016 at 2:19 PM ^
... but just remember that 20 years from now and the shoe is on the other foot.
September 13th, 2016 at 4:55 PM ^
I want a shot at being a grumpy old man. I been waiting all my life so I could blame all my problems on the next generation

You've been around for five years and don't know the no politics rule?
September 13th, 2016 at 12:47 AM ^
He goes out of his way to toss kids that he weighs twice as much as around like rag dolls.
I'm hoping he peaks early, the other kids catch up to him physically and get a rematch ;)
September 13th, 2016 at 12:49 AM ^
Not really that cool. If I'm the opposing coach I tell my team to just let him run to the goal line. After a couple of free runs they will be forced to pull him and he can move up a level.
September 13th, 2016 at 8:42 AM ^
And wrap up and don't let go.
September 13th, 2016 at 12:50 AM ^
Reminds me of Nelson from The Simpson's playing football.

That line didn't block for shit when Bart was QB.
September 13th, 2016 at 12:50 AM ^
If they wanted him to stop, just pull out a sandwich.
September 13th, 2016 at 1:02 AM ^
but some of those kids were just taking the worst angles imaginable.
September 13th, 2016 at 6:00 AM ^
This made me laugh hard.

1. This is hilarious
2. I might not think so if I had a kid getting run over like that- that kind of physical mismatch probably isn't safe
3. Reminds me of Penn State trying to tackle Pitt
September 13th, 2016 at 1:44 AM ^
Am I wrong or are there a few girls mixed in on the teams too? I think I'd have to have my daughter sit out that match.
September 13th, 2016 at 1:57 AM ^
They're 8. Boy/girl is not that important before puberty.
September 13th, 2016 at 1:55 PM ^
Except for when you play against this kid that hit puberty at 6...
September 13th, 2016 at 1:50 AM ^
Frost imagines this is what his Knights looked like while they were out hitting the Wolverines all game Saturday.
September 13th, 2016 at 1:56 AM ^
Seems competitive. Some of those kids probably are not cut out for rugby.
September 13th, 2016 at 2:36 AM ^
... and I just love those other kids. They show no fear trying to bring down this beast. God bless them. If some adult who is 6-5 and 250 pounds (rough equivalent) came barreling towards me, I'd do my best matador impression.
September 13th, 2016 at 6:58 AM ^
I would agree with that sentiment - they got in front of him and they tried and I respect that. That kid didn't even have to worry too much about finding a lane though as he could create his own by sheer size. I am sure that play gets a lot of scrutiny in film sessions....or they just watch "Cars" again or something.
September 13th, 2016 at 7:53 AM ^
I'd say that the beast-less team really out hit the other team. In that sense, they were totally winning the battle.

If I was one of those other kids with the ball and I saw him coming, I'd just toss it at him and curl into the fetal position.
He's definitely qualifies as a Don Brown "Dude"

I was pleasently surprised to see this was not another dorky baby anouncement shared on a sports blog with strangers. It might be the most cringe-inducing thing that regularly happens on this board.
September 13th, 2016 at 7:38 AM ^
But I doubt he'll be that dominant in 10 years
September 13th, 2016 at 8:08 AM ^
Very well could be, if he ends up in the trenches playing football.
September 13th, 2016 at 8:43 AM ^
offer him now before Saban does. LOL
September 13th, 2016 at 9:09 AM ^
He hits harder than the other 8th graders. Scott Frost has already offered him.
September 13th, 2016 at 9:31 AM ^
I probably should not have laughed as hard as I did at this clip
