Where will Michigan be ranked this week?

Where do you guys think Michigan will be ranked when the polls come out tomorrow? I'm going with 5 in the AP and 6 in the coaches but I could also see Houston jumping us.

Isn't it kind of obvious? 5 and 6 in AP and Coaches, respectively, assuming FSU wins. 4 and 5 if they lose. To go higher, we'd need to jump someone, and that seems unlikely to me.

Ole Miss will jump us unfortunately. It's bullshit, but it's likely.

FSU was way overranked to begin with (remember they finished last season #14 and that was too high imo, after being beaten in an uncompetitive game against Houston). The SEC bias, plus the magnitude of this beatdown over a "top 4 team" will mean that we stay #5.

We jump Oklahoma and LSU though, obviously.

I bet Ole Miss jumps Ohio State too and gets #3. If it happens, it will be so stupid.

Hate to say it, but Houston is going to jump us. Everyone was already framing that game as their coming out party even before they played. Gotta root against them here on out so they don't take a spot in the playoffs.

They came out of the weekend with a great win but they will not jump us. Yes, we played a lesser opponent at home but we handled our business. Anyone watching our game knows that we could have probably broken the century mark if we had pushed it. At best Houston winds up right behind us. Great win for them though to put them on the playoff map.

They'll jump everyone who loses ahead of them plus Tenn and MSU, which puts them at about 8ish.  We will move up to 5. I see teams moving into the top 5 pretty much in order ahead of the losers.

If Ole Miss upsets FSU, they along with Houston and OU will all be in a jumble from like 6-11. With stanford somewhere in there.

Not so sure about that. One of the Power 5 leagues has to get shut out of the playoff. Everyone presumes it can't happen to the B1G, but that's only based on two years' evidence.

You want other conferences to play themselves out of it, like the Pac-12 did last year. An FSU loss is preferred here since Bama is going to come through the SEC one way or another.

I say 5 depending on tonights game.

I really dont care what the rankings are during the season.

There is only one poll that matters and its the very last one .
