That's surprising. Is it on Sportscenter or what?

EDIT: Yeah it's up next on Sportscenter. They aren't really clear on if Harbaugh is actually saying anything or they're just talking about it, unless they were more specific earlier. We'll see, I guess.

Doublt EDIT: Yeah complete waste of time. Damn you ESPN.

I mean, that's about 215 billion years. It's accurate to say that 215 billion years from now, Tate probably won't have his degree, but the difference between the 0 and 1 outcome will be decided in the next 40-50 years.

It's just as meaningful to say that in 215 billion years I still won't be a professional basketball player.

You say

In related news, there are 78459042125753 days left until Tate Forcier shows up for class.

That implies that in that number of days, he will show up for class. It's not the same as saying won't have done so during the duration. You're saying that at the end of it, he's going to take action.

Two possible interpretations:

1) I made a semantics error.

2) There's a theory in physics that all possible actions are taken in an infinite number of parallel universes, and that in one of these universes, 215 billion years from now a scientist invents a reincarnation machine and his first test is to bring back Tate Forcier, who immediately decides to attend class, and that's what I was thinking when I first posted.

Both of these explanations resolve the conflict :)

and my single malt scotch for this weekend.  Dark Horse Oktoberfest and Tres Blueberry Stout.  Dalmore 12 year (the Oban 14 year was a bit overpriced at the store I went to).
