Seems like Wroblewski hype is real.
Congrats to all these young men! What an honor.

Upvoted, but I see him more as a hardworking, full motor kind of LB/DE that is setting a good example and pushing the guys in front of him to emulate his work ethic.
Perhaps some special teams and garbage time action.

Awesome! It seems like Mike Wroblewski is going to be a decent contributor this season.
August 26th, 2016 at 8:11 AM ^
Always nice to hear the unknown guys that work their asses off getting credit like this! Congrats to those men!!
August 26th, 2016 at 8:11 AM ^
It's nice to see their hard work and dedication pay off in lifting that financial burden.
Congrats to all!

He might start at holder...

Congratulations! Mike seems to be a contributor and what Brown said is going to come alive on the field. Hats off
August 26th, 2016 at 8:26 AM ^
about Wroblewski? Does he have a brother?
August 26th, 2016 at 8:16 AM ^
Congrats to them!!
August 26th, 2016 at 8:28 AM ^
I love it when those who are focus obtain their goal...

It's Garrett Moops.

if this post doesn't get a lot more upvotes. Well played.

and Go Blue!

Big day for a walk on and his family. HUGE.
Congratulations to all.
August 26th, 2016 at 8:37 AM ^
and I wish it was celebrated or publicized more. The fact of the matter is that a high percentage of walk-ons wont have an NFL contract in their lifetime, and getting their school paid for is HUGE.

Is there a recruiting profile out there? I must know his fake 40 time ASAP!!
August 26th, 2016 at 8:59 AM ^
Is Wroblewski the LB in the spring game that Brian and Seth kept mentioning things along the lines of "if you can't sat anything nice, say nothing at all, so we're not going to talk about that play"? Might be time to review that for realz, given the talk about him. I know Moundros and all, but this staff doesn't seem to be the type to hype guys who won't play.
August 26th, 2016 at 9:06 AM ^
I think it's more the coaches showing love to an underdog/overachiever type player.

it's good to see JH meritocracy at work. There is no doubt these young men earned what they have been given. Kudos to them for putting in the hard work.
August 26th, 2016 at 9:11 AM ^
If Wroblewski has to play in crunch time, I'll be pretty concerned. He moved from DE, he's slow, and he was out of position in the spring.
Congratulations to him because he earned a scholarship, but Michigan needs other guys to step up at inside linebacker. I'm guessing that if Gedeon misses much time, we'll see McCray, Furbush, Bush, etc. get more playing time at MIKE rather than inserting Wroblewski full-time.
August 26th, 2016 at 9:18 AM ^
Moundros was the starting FB for a number of years just like his brother before him. It wasn't like he didn't see game action for 3 years and then moved to FB. Different system under RR, meant they didn't necessarily need him at FB.

Congrats to them. Allen, Glasgow, and these three. That gets Michigan to 85 scholarships, right?

Myself hearing about guys earning scholarships is great. Paying for the privilege of working just as hard as the guys on scholarship without the playing time is either very admirable or insane. I believe the former of course.
Congrats toGarrett, Mike and AJ.
August 26th, 2016 at 9:30 AM ^
By my count, Michigan has one more to give along with Moores, Wroblewski, and Pearson. We had 81 scholarship guys, including Glasgow and Allen, so those three put us at 84.
August 26th, 2016 at 9:58 AM ^
I know scholarships are usually given to upperclassman walk-ons, but 247 was saying good things about Andrew Vastardis. Maybe he gets one.
August 26th, 2016 at 10:23 AM ^
I doubt it. Plus, it's kind of a diss to take away a scholarship once it's handed out, so you would basically be hinting that he has a 4- or 5-year scholarship since he's only a freshman. I think it's more likely that Bobby Henderson, Ben Pliska, or Michael Jocz ends up with a scholarship.
August 26th, 2016 at 11:47 AM ^
Henderson or Hirsch. I'd say Henderson.

the free claims Glasgow still doesn't have one

Garrett Moores will be the holder this year, a very important job! Anyway, congrats to all three of these young men! Go Blue!
August 26th, 2016 at 9:39 AM ^
I'm 99% sure you can't give a walk-on a scholarship without releasing a flashy video that publicizes the school and coach
August 26th, 2016 at 10:21 AM ^
As scholarships open up, Harbaugh is going to give them to the most deserving. Deserving may be based almost entirely on effort and the example they set for the more capable players.
Who cares if they don't see the field on Saturday if they make the guys that do work and play better?
August 26th, 2016 at 3:31 PM ^
most deserving, would be Ryan Glasgow and Kenny Allen, two starters. i understand no scholly for them yet. how the heck is that possible? is this the Glasgow's family's way of contributing, as they are well off? and what about allen? the kid a money kicker
August 26th, 2016 at 3:39 PM ^
Allen got his. but Ryan Glasgow hasn't. the dude will be all big ten, with no scholly. just bizarre. it has to be the parents way of donating to the university, because for him not to have a scholly by now is absurd

August 26th, 2016 at 11:24 AM ^
I love the walk-on program that Harbaugh is developing. And as an aside I'm happy that the staff is able to make lemonade (3 walk-ons receiving scholarships) out of lemons (Mitchell/others suspensions/departures).
August 26th, 2016 at 11:48 AM ^
This mean Garrett Moores is in the mix for starting QB!
August 26th, 2016 at 11:53 AM ^
I remember ESPN did a piece a year or two ago where they showed teams suprising walk-ons with a scholarship offer. Like watching Rudy in real life. Great stuff.
GO BLUE!!

Nice to see that their hard work has paid off. Congrats to them!
