First time season ticket holder: Are these seats good?

Submitted by Rather be on BA on

So I just got my tickets in the mail and I am in section 16, row 85.  I am wondering if these seats are any good.

Any insight is appreciated.

Super pumped!

EDIT-

Appreciate all of the helpful responses guys!

Yes, I have been to more than a handful of games, but split over years, that is not enough for me to have a great idea of the location of sections, seating, views etc.

Thanks again for all of the helpful responses.  I am excited for the season.

There is nothing at all to indicate what you said was joking in any way. You ask a question as if everyone should know what seats are good and bad. You, Kalamazoo, are the asshole here.
The other posts are obviously joking when they say "I don't know, but I'll take them off your hands and trade you, then let you know" or some variation thereof. Yours has no hint of humor anywhere.

"wide vista" seating area.  You have a great view of what's going on in the stadium and surrounding skyline.  But if your eyesight isn't that great, bring in a good pair of compact binoculars.

as I'm just a couple rows lower than you, 3 sections over in the north end zone in Section 36, looking directly down the eastern sideline.

The closest view I could find to what I have is this from section 14, row 94 (which is exactly the opposite corner from my block of seats in 36, rows 78 & 79).   Just like in this photo, I can see the plays as they develop nearly all the way to the far end zone and rarely use my binoculars until the ball is inside the 25-yard line at the opposite end.

To really give an educated opinion, you should probably send me a couple of sets. I'll go to the games and let you know what I really think. You're welcome

There is no seat in the big house that is bad, or obstructed. In my opinion the best seats are first row, but you can't really see the whole picture so many disagree. I generally like about 20 rows up in the end zone best, much better view of watching aye develope than the sideline seats. Also I've only been in the suites once but they were very nice.

Let me preface this as there is not a bad seat in the BIG house. I have been blessed to have season tickets since I came out of the womb with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind. My dad first purchased season tickets in 1972 (roughly) and we have had the same seats since.

We are in section 17 row 60 seats 21 and 22. I enjoy being up high and able to see the play develop. If i want to see something up close, I just take a look up at the scoreboard for a replay.

you will be one section over (to the right in the picture), and about 25 rows higher.

Anything above row 20 is good in my opinion. When you get too low (or are in the endzones) it can be really hard to tell what's going on. I'd muuuch rather be in row 95 than in 5

I am in section 7, same row as you. I like my seats. You can see the plays open up.  The down side is when play is a the other end of the field, but whatever.

Row 85 sounds bad, but because the stadium was built in the ground it  is not that bad.

Welcome to the season ticket family!
