Bo M vs Block M: which hat do you prefer/wear?
The Block M has always been my style, but I bought myself a Bo M hat at MDen and I really like it. Now I'm torn on which style I will wear for games.
I've always been curious to see where others stand on this.
I do notice that once the Bo M hat disappeared from the sidelines in 2004, we started going on a slide after that season.

The original Bo hat was slightly different than the current Harbaugh hat. The M was a bit smaller and thicker. Here's a photo of all three hats: original Bo hat, New Era Bo hat and the current Harbaugh hat.

That script Nike hat is pretty awesome- I'd wear that in a hearbeat if they re-released it.

The New Era Bo M hat has been my only style hat since the 1997 Iowa Game. Its a classic. I'm probably on #6 or #7 by this point. I still have the first one that made the trip to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl/NC in 1998.
I used to get a lot of comments about it until HARBAUGH arrived. Not many people wore the Bo Hat during the end of the Nike years and during the Adidas years. Now its the standard style again.

For a hat, definitely the Bo hat. I'm not a fan of the Virginia Michigan M at all.

I bought a white block M dri-fit hat and just got it in the mail yesterday. The design on the website showed the "virginia" block M but I got it and it's a normal block M. I don't know why it looks like there is a V on it on the website but it actually isn't.

The block 'M' actually confuses some people... I get "Mizou", "Mines", more than you'd think given Michigan's cachet.

You can touch powdered sugar. Or flour. Or cocaine. Or ice. Or a dream. A cat. Your steering wheel. Keyboard. Yourself. There are literally dozens of things you can touch while wearing a white hat.

For the hat only, the Bo M. There's something sharp and well-proportioned about it, and I think it looks better as an embroidered logo.

Got a block M adidas for Christmas last year and still haven't worn it publicly. It now adorns my Michigan room atop a lamp. I kind of like that adornment. And never turn the lamp on. I still wear my Bo hat which precedes our last Championship season, which I am thinking will be renewed this year because it's our time again.

I have my 1997 block M hat and until a better season comes along, I'm sticking with it.
