I'll be in the stadium. That said, I kind of miss the old dudes that used to sit behind my dad's seats. They were annoying, but also kinda funny. I've never heard somebody say "jesus christ" so many times. They would also say the same things every time I was the one to go to games with my dad. "Oh you brought the tall one this week."

Herbsrteet is still the A-team.  Tessitore and Blackledge will be the B-team.  I assumed this to be the C-team, but I don't think so now.  This team may have got a slight demotion even with the turnover.  The Citrus Bowl debacle likely did not help their cause.  I suspect Davis and Palmer may be moving from Thursday night for some games.

Herbstreit is alright but if he ever comes with Musberger again it's not worth it. I kinda forgot about Tessitore, but he's about on par with Patrick for me. I like Rece Davis but I can't stand Palmer.

Being the main play-by-play guy. He's a perfect fit for studio, tennis, other big sporting events. But the nitty of the gritty? Give me the bums from the BTN before him.

I just might use this game to finally try to get the radio stream synced with the video feed. Would much rather listen to Brandstatter and Dierdorf than any of these guys.

can't believe it has been allowed to go on for this long.  It would not be the greatest but at this point just shuffle Matt Shephard in there until you can find the long term solution because Brandy is not it.  At least he can sound like a play by play guy even if he is not a particularly good one.

In terms of just purely covering a game? Blaha is equally awful in describing what is happening on the field. I was listening to the MSU vs Wisconsin game a few years back in the championship when Wisconsin converted that 40 yard bomb on 4th down or whatever it was to esssentially win the game. "Wilson drops back. Caught, first down." Swear to you, that's how he said it.

Not the most exciting crew, but like you said we're not a marquee matchup in week 1. On the other hand, I'll take them over the likes of Beth Mowins any day of the week.

I read Hawaii and Cunnigham and automatically assumed someone was talking about the legendary waterman Mark Cunnigham.

Did Ed Cunningham call any Michigan games last year?

Patrick used to be great. He had so many slip ups in the Citrus Bowl. Still he's better than Beth and Joey, and Cunningham always does his homework

Remember that TD pass that Rudock through in a tight window? The Florida defender basically just reached out to swipe. If he would have done ANYTHING, it would have been barely knocked down. Instead, Patrick says almost pick 6.

The game has definitely left him behind.

LOL!

My 9yr old son made fun of him saying that while we were watching the game and it's now an inside joke whenever we've watched DVR replay.

He also says two tackles later in the game "saved a touchdown" when both plays were near midfield and there was no chance either play would be a wide open score.

to get a cooler full of beer and ice and plant my ass in front of the TV from 9am to midnight that weekend.

Only get up to open the door and piss in the back yard like a man.  I could miss a play if I walked to the bathroom.
