I saw this on a different message board and thought it would be cool to do over here. We won't have two players win the Heisman so close together...Shoe Lace is going to win it as a Junior when he is used as a slot and averages 20+ yards per reception, throws a few completions from screens, and causing an unending torent of mayhem for opposing defenses en route to a national title apprearance and 45 ppg as a team. He will be the offensive equivalent of The Waterboy!

Everyone seems to be going Ryan or Vinopal to overachieve. I think Davion Rogers is the guy to watch. At 6'6" and 210, I think he'll wind up 20-30 pounds heavier. His fake 40 is 4.6. I suspect it could become a real number with Barwis. So, a 6"6' 235# linebacker with 4.6 speed? Hmmm. If he's got heart and is coachable, that is a substantial upside.

Start as a Freshman: Cullen Christian - With our depth, I think he is a near lock to start. Not sure if it will be the opening game, but at least half of the season. Surprise [offense]: Stephen Hopkins - I think this is one of our most underrated commits. Hopkins is an absolute bruiser. Surprise [defense]: Courtney Avery - He seems to have more "game speed". I think Avery has the potential to really contribute to the team, much faster than we expect. He might not deliver bone-crushing hits for the highlight reel but the kid is a sure tackler...something we have missed the past couple of years. Overachieve: I'm also going to go with Davion Rogers. He has the potential to be a monster with the Barwis program. Rogers has a good frame and could be a major beneficiary of a redshirt year. Be the "First off the Bus" (a.k.a. most physically intimidating): Has to be Marvin Robinson. Nothing else to say other than he is a freak. Boom or bust: Jibreel Black. I think he goes either way. Rankings vary on the kid. I don't think his offer list is as good as some others make it out to be. Don't get me wrong though, I'm extremely happy we landed Black. I love this kid's motor. Take a redshirt: Jordan Paskorz. I'm not going to say any WR for this one. RR has a very open competition and there is no telling how some of the WR's will perform. I simply don't think Paskorz will be ready to contribute on the field as a freshman. 100% redshirt. Switch positions: Does Josh Furman count? Ah, then I have to agree on Conelius Jones. By saying that, I don't necessarily feel that he WILL change...I just think he has the best chance to. Most of our guys will end up where they were recruited for. I personally think Jones stays at QB...but may be used in weird packages. Dominate youtube: Has to be 100%, without a doubt...Demar Dorsey. Cissoko brought an annoying version of "swag". Dorsey has that infectious version of it. I can't guarantee his success as a football player but I think he is going to entertain the hell out of us. Be a team captain: Ricardo Miller. No other answers are acceptable. Be the #1 pick: Devin Gardner. We racked up on S, CB and WR this year. Those typically aren't No. 1 draft picks. We landed good kids at DE and DT but not elite. That alone gives Gardner the best chance to win this superlative. Win the Heisman: The only school to have a defensive player win the Heisman...will do it AGAIN with Cullen Christian. The only way he does it is if Dorsey teaches him a thing or two. Woodson had that swagger...Christian will have to get some too.
