MDen Final Adidas Sale

Submitted by Chuck Norris on

Just got word from a friend of a friend who works at MDen that, as of midnight, July 14 (about an hour ago) they've made their final price cuts on all Adidas gear, both in store and online. Almost everything's 70% off. I'm grabbing an away football jersey for 20 bucks.

Thanks for posting this.  Just picked up some youth jerseys for my buddy and fellow Alum who lives in Charlotte.  $10.00 for one of those is an easy call.  They will be greatly cherished.

I was scrolling though and saw many items I would like to purchase for my son and myself both. I noticed, for example, a V shooting shirt (BB) and a regular neck w/MICHIGAN on the bottom but both have same product code. Is this something I'll have to wait and call on during regual business hours or is there a way of letting them know which one you want. Find it odd both have same code with such visible differences, but it is what it is.

Thanks.

Wasn't able to get the premier jersey bc they didn't have large or even a medium so I just bought the cheaper one in a medium.  When the Nike ones come out I'll get a home Peppers one.  Haven't bought a new Michigan jersey in a decade when I was a kid.  Who should I say it belongs to?  Funchess, Edwards, AC, or Crawford?

Nearing the end of my first winter in Mexico, almost time to head back to the states, I gave a Michigan Hockey Jersey to one of my Mexican friends I had met that year. Well actually, he had dual citizenship and was down in that part of the world for the same reason as I was but he is much younger and so he wanted to start a bar/restaurant there as well.

I noticed he always had a hockey jersey on, which at first I found odd, with him being from N. Carolina when he lived in the states, then I remembered just how far hockey had expanded. His jerseys were WalMart quality though, while mine was the real deal, a gift from my son who had laid out the jersey, along with two tickets as a birthday surprise for me. Wherever he purchased the jersey was out of football jerseys so he bought me the hockey jersey. I actually liked it better anyway. i' don't know who would run out of f.b. jerseys but I didn't ask.  I decided just before I left, because he obviously liked hockey jerseys and because while at his bar he was cheering with me for MI while his brother, the bartender, was purposely fucking with me by cheering for Va. Tech in the bowl game, that I would give it to him as thanks for being such a nice host to me throughout the winter. Mind you, I had the jersey for about 3 to 4 years so I wasn't just giving away, w/o thought, a gift from my son.

Well his reaction was so touching I decided right then this was going to become a tradition. Now I don't always have Michigan gear with me, but I always have a hoodie because normally, at least one night during the winter, the temps might call for it. I normally give it to one of the people that work hard but struggle due to having lots of kids, maybe drinks too much, reasons doesn't really matter, but by the end of the winter, I know who is a good person and who is not.

I do give away M gear when I have it though because this really brings enjoyment. Anyone that knows anything about the Latino culture is aware they like colors so Michigan gear is a real treat. Personally, I wouldn't wear a numbered jersey at my age, but I do like caps - those make nice gifts as well - and I like t-shirts also. Doesn't matter where you go down there or what you are doing, dress is always casual, so t-shirts and shorts always are proper. But I say if you want to wear a jersey and it makes you feel good, do it. Hell, since when have you dressed for someone else? And remember, it's going on your card, no one else's. Just enjoy it and have fun. JMO, but damn, I'm pretty much right about everything.

I bought a youth jersey and two adult t-shirts for $30.00. Shipping was only $6.00. I had wanted to get a "Keep Calm & Go Blue" shirt. Was happy to find it there. Also bought an A squared shirt. Nice way to say Michigan without saying Michigan.

I think Nike apparel looks better than adidas, but these adidas Michigan t-shirts for $5 is a steal. I think I will pass on paying $20-30 for a Nike t-shirt next month. Nike apparel may be great, but it is tremendously overpriced, especially for basic items like t-shirts and shorts.

And if you have kids, this sale is great as well.

Thanks for the heads up...

I couldn't care less if a $5 t-shirt has an Adidas logo on it. Same for a pair of gym shorts. Got a number of items for cheap! I figure if I'd buy this same thing in the store for more without a block M, why not get the same item with my favorite team/logo on it?
