We are slowly moving to an "all home/all away" schedule whereby we play 100% of our games on the road in even years and 100% of our games at home in the odd years.

Granted it will make selling season tickets in the even years challenging but just think of the competitive advantadge we'll gain in the odd years.

Radical but the vision is clear.

No fucking way.

Harbaugh wanted them on the schedule and  I'm sure gave his blessing.

The buyout is nothing compared to the likely extra revenue from this game.

I would not be surprised to see Michigan and MSU switch back so the schedule is more balanced. Regardless, this deal would not be done without Harbaugh. I'm also fairly sure these discussions were going on before Manuel was brought in. There is no way Manuel acted on his own.

and we'll let them have two more home games in a row.

The fact of the matter is, we just got embarrased.  Hard not to say we don't come out of this looking like ND's bitch.  They get two home games in a row and we get a hard as hell schedule as a result.  Our "reload" years are the home ones and our loaded years seem to be our away years.  I am going to go on record saying that this will haunt us for years to come.

Warde comes off as super weak.

harbaugh wants to relive his glory days in the 80s and doesn't care how we look, or what we give up. The fans/customers were not consulted as usual, probably not the players either. As for manuel, he's in his ivory team echo chamber unaware how embarrassing this is. If he ever does open his emails, pretty soon he'll tell people stop drinking and go to bed...

This is really stupid, bad move. Look at the current roster, 2017 will be a relative down year because we lose so many players after this season. But then 2018 stacks up to be an awesome team, except now they have to go on the road against all rivals and strong teams.

And this is AFTER Notre Dame ended the last series with a home game in an underhanded move. What is Warde thinking?

My going in negotiation position would be 2 homes to start, then we can alternate. Also, can we please play 2 in every 4 years instead of every single year? Would like some diversity of who we will play, with say Arkansas.

my opinion of having great teams is it's worthless if you can't go around the country showing them off and competing against the best teams, kind of like what USC did under carroll. With how we're going to be replacing cross country opponents from all 4 conferences with ND ND ND, this will now only happen if we make the playoff.

That 2018 home schedule is gonna be straight garbage, and with road games at ND, OSU, and MSU, that's gonna be a tough schedule.  You lose Arkansas as a home game that year too.  Yuck.

After the way the series ended, I'm over ND.

Especially now we have fewer non-conference games each season.

Especially since this puts all rivalry games on the road in 2018 (and possibly future seasons).

Especially since I'm into scheduling series with SEC teams, be they good or bad.

Suck it DB.  Suck it Warde.
