Completely OT: Disgusting youtube video

If you have an uneasy stomach you might not want to watch this. I apologize to anyone that finds this type of material beneath Mgoblog standards but I just have to pass this on. You can thank my friend who emailed it to me.

I just sent that video to a friend of mine who's applying to med school this year. I don't think he'll want to be a dermatologist after seeing this.

They had to lance that thing...good that step two wasn't like what one would do with a snake bite, oh... I just threw up in my mouth.
I will never slap anyone in the back again.

I've seen much worse videos than this. I used to torture myself on occasion by visiting a video site with images of people breaking legs, lancing cysts, getting hit by cars, dislocating elbows, etc.

Obviously, that wasn't the best use of my time.

"Alright, here's a dude with a cyst on his back and a chick hovering over him with an x-acto knife and band-aids on her fingers.

So I assume she's a licensed dermatologist."

I had a cyst like this on my scalp when I was younger. Sometimes they just happen for no reason. It wasn't as big as that, but none the less.

My mom is so obsessed over picking zits that she forced me to sit there and let her squeeze at it till it popped. The whole time she was saying "I think it's just a really big zit." Which she knew was a lie. My head bled for almost an hour when she finally got it. "Oh... sorry. I guess it was a cyst."

My woman has that same compulsion. I actually had a very similar cyst to the one in the video, in almost the exact same place. A little smaller, but still. She tried for the longest time to pop it, I made an appointment to have it removed. The night before my appointment, I decided to let her try (what could it hurt), and it popped; on her cheek. It was so disgustingly hilarious, we still joke about it.

I went in the next day to get it removed, and my doc cut it out and showed it to me. It literally looked like a miniature, off-white, heart. Crazy.
