Site: Drupal Issues?

Submitted by aenima0311 on

Has anyone else been getting Drupal Offline errors constantly the last couple days? It's been happening more and more frequently, and I just want to make sure it isn't just me....

I have seen them in the past, but not recently. A Drupal error is server-side, which means it happens before it gets to your machine and even if no one else is seeing the issue, it is not just your problem.

Update: we were pounding the server pretty hard with vbulletin updates and unpublishing all those anonymous coward notes, so that shouldn't be an issue regularly.

vBulletin???? Be still my beating heart. Just disable smilies. And signatures. Content only plz, kthx.

Also, any chance that the site goes widescreen? I know there's a browser script you can do to get it to display in widescreen, I just feel that readership would appreciate a wider format. Easer than having to scroll, scroll, scroll some more.

And slow too. Maybe after spring ball the site needs a spring cleaning. Where it can be down for a couple of days.

There is no need to take down the site for a couple of days. Everything can be done on a separate development server and then replicated to the main server.

Now, if I see those words ever again I am going to hunt you down and take away your keyboard.

Glad to see it wasn't anything on my end, wasn't sure it was really.

Add me to those who aren't a fan of V. Bulletin. I wasn't a fan of the Drupal format at first, but I've grown to love it. I like content first setups that don't allow excessive signatures, and time wasting scrolling.
