NEW Season Ticket Holder - POSBANG
Grew up about 30 minutes from Ann Arbor and still remember my first game when I was 6 at the Big House where Tim Biakabutuka ran for 313 against OSU. Always dreamt of going to U of M from that moment on and could not wait to be able to attend the games each weekend. Moved to Austin post graduation but made it a priority to come back to Ann Arbor during football season. Today I can finally do that without scouring stubhub each Friday night. Here's to everyone else in my shoes, and holding on to these bad boys for the next 50 years!
Nice!! How many did you get?

Was my max amount. Hoping that increases over time in time for my illegitimate kids coming out of the wood work
The season ticket club? Or the having illegitimate children club?
Illegitimate is such a hurtful word, I think they prefer bastard
When you're referring to an actual bastard, especially if it's their kid.
People should use it more.
Now we just implore you to stand up every second you are in the stadium, cheer your ass off, and make the Big House an intimidating environment to play in every Saturday!
And when a blue hair tells you to sit down, keep standing and get louder

Someday your hair will be blue..............
I wonder if it's not just UM fans but fans from Michigan in general that have a problem with standing. I was at the Wings/Wild game where their playoff streak was still in doubt with 2-3 games to go. We were 4 rows off the glass to the right of the box. It was toward the end of the game when shit was getting chippy with a 1 goal lead. There was a face off coming and in the lull between we were all standing, along with most of the folks around us. 2 dudes behind us in their forties all decked out in Wings attire kept asking people to sit down. I never looked back aftewards to see if they stood during play. It's not like there was a 10 minute lull. It was maybe a minute at most while the players got set and the refs were skating around acting busy like they do. Weird shit, man.
I stand basically the entire game. Then again, I am driving 600 miles from Nashville so I feel as if I have deserved it at that point. There is no way in hell I am sitting a majority of my time in Michigan Stadium. It feels wrong, and I will not do it no matter what the people behind me think.
the OP mentioned. I had some blue hair behind me, trying to get me to sit down. Wasn't going to happen!
CONGRATS! Money well spent.
you find M fans for the ones you don't use. don't be a douchebag and just put them on stub hub for Sparty, Bucknut or some other non UM fan to buy.
Can't wait for fall!
I am also joining the ranks! Stoked to finally be able to make it to the Big House every fall Saturday, and even more stoked to take my son to games as he grows up. I just wish they would let me get more than 2! Go Blue!!
Nothing better than getting that email about receiving season tickets! Go Blue!

I applied but haven't heard back. Guess I didn't get them.
Well, you killed your wife.

You can be a murderer and a Michigan fan at the same time.
It's science.
I didn't get an email saying I had gotten them, but I checked my account and clicked on season renewals. The offer was sitting there and I just paid for them, so I'd say that works.
Doesn't it take like 15 years after getting on the list to finally get them? That's the only reason I haven't done it. Too impatient.
I just buy them off of stubhub

Per the office the past few years they've been able to help everyone on the list and at least offer them seats. They said they weren't 100% sure that would be the case this year.
I just made the minimum donation and was able to get tickets this year - so seems like everyone who wanted in this year probably got in

Back when I got mine (2011), there were a lot of folks who were getting rid of their season tickets (team not doing so hot, prices increasing, PSD, etc...). For a donation (couple of hundred bucks) you were almost guaranteed tickets. I can't imagine the situation is the same with Harbaugh at the helm.
Was offered tickets right away. In years past I was always able to put a season of tickets together via stubhub for less than face, but with the program getting better, this might be hader to do in the coming seasons.
Welcome!
With my bowling league on Saturdays, I only get to the Big House for one game a year. Hoping to be in the House for Whiskey this year.
Seriously? Bowling takes precedence? Are you 50+ and named Stosh?
I will catch the games in the bar or on DVR. I'm 38.
I can't imagine being in a bowling league and missing Michigan football.

one Saturday I took off this year we had like 6-8 party buses go to AA for the staee game. We tailgated and watched the game at Bar Louie. After the game, I wished I would've went bowling.
Everything except the last few seconds of that game was awesome. There are only 7-8 home games a year and I would never trade a single one to go bowling.

Same here! Can't wait! Now the countdown starts to June 13 when we find out where the seats are located.
Congrats! Last year was my first year, and I couldn't be happier!

Are you allowed to get singles or is the minimum requirement two?

First-time season ticket holder here too. Like you, I would be on stub hub every week getting tickets, but not anymore. The season can't get here soon enough!
Congrats. I too was very excited to finally become a season ticket holder after graduation. I graduated in May 1998 and was wait listed (remember wait lists?) until 2001. I jumped at the chance to have my own pair even though I was off to chapel hill for grad school. I kept my tix until hoke's last season even though I spent two falls in NC, two in Chicago, and 7 in Los Angeles. My only falls in Michigan were 2003/2004.
Sounds like you plan to keep yours forever. I planned on that as well until I moved back to California from Chicago and Hoke was sinking the ship. Not sure if I will get a full season again, but I still get to about one home and away game each year.
Enjoy, go blue.
Glad to be a season ticket holder again for the first time since being a student 10 years ago; excited to make the trip from Chicago a few times this year and pass off other tickets to deserving M fans the weeks we can't make it!
does for a living where he can just say, fuck it, I'm going to A2 for the fall to watch some football.
I want that job.
That Mon-Thurs workweek never looked so good during football season
#Humblebraggin and don't care
So this must be you....
I'll bet you do even less actual "work" than I do (and make 5x the salary).
Good for you.
Bastard.
illegitimate? Oh, wait, no, they prefer "bastard" now. Geez, it's hard to keep up. ;-)
I'm right there with you! Excited to get my tickets in the mail ahead of time instead of the day before the game, and allow our group of 6 to hopefully all sit together.

Yay me too? I've always wanted to get them, and the wife is finally on board. No more begging my brother to take me over his wife!!

Our family had three and we were on the old waiting list for almost 12 years (my wife is alum) for more. When the new system came out we donated a few hundred buck and she had enough points to get three more. The direction this program is taking will make them tougher to get again. Now is the time to get them even it if means making a minimum donation. Good luck and enjoy!!!!!
