OT: 2016 NFL Draft Day 2 open thread
The second day of the 2016 NFL Draft is under way. What kinds of crazy things will happen tonight?
Two guys with injury question marks are already off the board. Jaylon Smith (Notre Dame) was picked by the Cowboys, and Myles Jack (UCLA) went to the Jaguars.
Connor Cook must be a dousche of epic proportions. That is all.
Dude's a young Donald Trump.

More like the bursar.
(Super discrete Hamilton reference)
He's the most qualified candidate in decades and yet everyone still hates him?

I guess the no politics thing doesn't count tonight?

So calling people pussies and saying that you can shoot someone and not lose popularity makes you qualified?
Did you miss the /s?
Why can't we just all love one another?

I agree with all this, but I guess I don't see why his hubris alone would be enough to warrant him dropping so far. I mean, maybe he just isn't that good of a QB?

I hope the team that drafts Cook allows Archie Griffin to announce his selection.
this makes no sense
Suprised it took so long for this thread to be made.
I thought the Dolphins when they traded up, was going to be for Derrick Henry. I also don't like the pick by the Chargers, Hunter Henry.
I also thought that the Browns were going to trade down.
The Ravens have traded down twice, and only went down six picks combined and got fourth and fifth round picks this year.
Spence just got drafted by Tampa Bay. Another LB with issues not regarding talent.
I was surprised when I pulled up the site that a thread wasn't made yet.
I also thought the Dolphins might be going for a RB. I'm not a fan of the pick for them, but I don't care about the Dolphins, so oh well.
Also they clearly don't know what to do with a RB as we saw this season.
Willie Henry and Glasgow should go tonight and we will extend our draft streak.
Every pick is getting announced by a former player that played for the team that is drafting.
Would like to see Glasgow in Vikings purple at the end of today.
I like that Ragland seemed so excited to go to Buffalo that he stayed tuned into whatever conversation he was having on the phone. Not quite as bad as Corey Coleman last night, who when drafted by Cleveland looked at the stage as if Goodell had just pronounced sentence for something.
Well to be fair, Buffalo looks like a team that has potential to win. Plus, I'd assume that he was notified that he was going to Buffalo after the first round yesterday or early today.
3 trades today already. A LOT more than last year
The Jaguars could be crazy good in about 2 years.
when they move to London
Why is Noah Spence's name gone from the Bucs' 2-8 pick? Weird (looking at espn.com)
You can only see it if you are rolling and have glow sticks
I must be trippin' balls, because now he's listed again.
It will be interesting to see if Rudock gets drafted. I'm guessing he goes to the Ravens in the 6th or 7th round.
But I think they look for Kevin Hogan out of Stanford in the 5th round.
The Lions are well positioned to get a player at a position of need: Spriggs, Robinson, Billings, or Alexander...watch them draft someone else...
Drafting another one would not make any sense.
Move Reif to LG or replace him after his contract is up after this year
You can't spend two high picks on OT when you have holes at DT, DE, LB, WR, and S.
Not a fan of the Chargers draft so far. Bosa and Henry are both talented, but neither fixes any of the Chargers problems.

Gates won't play forever. and they list the other guy in FA
Jacksonville...Dante Fowler, Jaylen Ramsey and Myles Jack...that could be a special trio.
Is it just me, or is this one of the best drafts in the past ten-ish years? Heisman winner just dragged with the 45th pick.
It's just you. This draft lacks a lot of star power in my opinion.

weak draft at the top. the 20-60 players all about the same
Murray and Henry, that's a nice combo.
Come on Lions...do the right thing. A'Shawn Robinson please!!!
