Jordan Morgan, current career and future aspirations
Thanks for posting this Space Coyote.
Morgan remains one of my all time favorite MICH hoopsters.
I'm hoping he can make an impression in the D-League and end up on an NBA roster. Even if he doesn't, it sounds lime J-Mo will be successful no matter what he does.
Jon Horford is also on the Charge's roster, so the two are playing together once again.
did not have any sense of what a hard childhood he went through. Guy is off the chain cool.
Yeah, I don't think I'd ever heard that he'd lived in a homeless shelter. Really a remarkable life story.
Best wishes Jordan.
We need his toughness very badly.

To a man I've never met anyone who doesn't think J-Mo is great. He remains engaged in the community and wants to make a difference.
That's me!

I like him too!
what an awesome guy
I went through the IOE program also
Just a great story. Kid busted this butt in the court and in the classroom, and seems like a good dude to boot.
and his gf is smoking hot.
I feel bad that he's playing in Canton. Wonder where he's living. Canton's about the last place I'd want to be. But there are some nice areas just outside of it. Jackson Township is real nice.
I live in Jackson myself. I didn't realize Morgan and Horford play for the charge (I know Manny Harris used to. I might have to go to a game now.
Quit playing in canton after my senior year. Pretty sure I would've torn up the canton pro league!

An MgoBlog thread turns into pure douchebaggery
I'll always have major respect for Morgan. Just a genuinely awesome person.

coaching aspirations. I would love for him to spend the next several years at Beilein's side.
That reminded me of this (nice) moment, below, with Beilein waiting and hoping for Morgan's name to be called, even as everyone around him left. Easy to cheer for these guys.
I would have never imagined someone who came from so little could do so much. His attitude and community improvement programs are what I aspire to. Go Jordan!
I'll do what I can (off the court) to match you.
