Midnight musings: don't click here
Spring game draft is set for Thursday. It will be an actual game just like last year.
Maize vs Blue. Woooooo!
But the spring game is still a 6pm Friday night game. Booooooo.
Are you going?
Do you even realize the spring game is coming is the real question? Since the athletic department has released so few details on the game that it's like they don't actually want people to show up.

You do know that voting is back right? "Midnight musings" may not be a great title with that being the case

The attendance is going to blow goats.
I'd groan if it was 8pm but at least it would, you know, provide people a chance to actually get there from work and not sit in ass-to-ass (ASS TO ASS!)^ Friday rush hour traffic.
^(if you get that reference, you're awesome)
I'll be there because I have a part-time job that I asked off for 2 weeks in advance. Others might not be so lucky.

at which time the temperature was still 60. I'm not nearly as worried as you about it being a bit chilly for the Spring Game.
Besides, haven't most of us been at Michigan Stadium on Saturdays when the weather was a well below freezing? Or did you NOT earn your Michigan Fan Badge by attending games such as those gawdawful Northwestern games played in sleet/freezing rain/gale-force winds/snow?
I believe it was the 1995 Purdue game where we got maybe three of Michigan's four seasons in the span of about two hours from sometime during the height of tailgating to about halftime or so. It was a very mild morning, then the front came through with a 45-ish MPH wind and a shitty, cold rain, then it got really cold and that became freezing rain. Some of us got very ill after that game, but Fandom Endurance Badge Level 4 (maybe 3, it's up for debate) attained.

Wasn't that the Ernest Shazor game? Wasn't at the game, but remember watching on TV thinking boy it must suck being out there.
the things that i will always remember from that is that Chuck Winters uniform was spotless... he was the only guys on both teams that played in the game to have a clean uniform...
Throw in the completely screwed Ann Arbor traffic from the complete M14 shutdown...
The closure on M14 at Main doesn't help matters either. Evening commute on I94/M14/US23 is even messier now.

Requiem for a Dream? What a movie.
How come you know more about medicine than a doctor?
Believe me, Ma. I know.

Hey WD, why haven't Benn and Discuss Man been posting lately? Haven't heard from them in a long time. Will you please tell them that it's okay to come out of hiding now. Thanks!

Random thought of the evening:
Anyone else disappointed that Jim Harbaugh wasn't in Cuba with Jeter and the President?
Who gives a shit? If someone was going to go before then great they'll probably make it. If not, they'll watch on BTN. I doubt Harbaugh gives one fuck let alone two.
