Seems that the hamsters spinning the wheel got hungry and ate everyone's points? All show zero at the moment...

What was that statistic they threw at us in college? Something like "65% of college students don't drink"? This was back in 2004ish.

Now, to be fair, whenever someone asks me to develop some statistics for them, the first question I ask is, "what do you WANT the stats to show?"

Nipples on men

Casting a conservative presidential vote when you live in a liberal stronghold (or vice versa)

Life jackets on flights over no water

Wiping the paws of my yellow lab every time she comes in from our muddy backyard

Me having an opinion about how my house is decorated

Mea culpa, I did not know The First Rule.

However, if you go out to start your car in the morning and find that the gas tank is empty, are you talking about gas, or the empty tank?

I remember getting my MGoPoints. I was a sporadic, utterly irrelevant poster at first, earning less than 1000 over my account's first 5 years or so. Then one summer I started on a long term project at work where I was essentially given a year of fully autonomy to do what I wanted because no one even knew what the end result would be or how to get there.

This would lead to stretches where out of burnout, boredom or laziness, I would just aimlessly browse the internet for multiple days straight, including a heavy dose of Mgoblog. My points shot up as I commented liberally and mastered the art of using reaction gif responses. My point total finally reached a total of respect in the community, and the embarrassment of my wife.

Now, I can't even remember how many points I had. It's as if the year of my MGoAwakening never happened. Points, wherever you are, come home, I miss you.

We haven't received the official story. Brian is communicating with us as much as Harbaugh does with 2* satellite camp commits. Maybe another blog will offer us.
