I actually missed a little bit of the early games as I was at a volunteer event for work, although someone there did flip the tournament on at one point and we (along with some of the folks we were working with) did sit down and chat about yesterday's games for a bit before going. That was actually kind of a cool way to give back and talk about hoops at the same time.

Interesting to see how flat a majority of these teams are coming out.
Definitely not the prettiest of starts to March Madness. But I guess since we're still getting our share of Madness, who cares how "pretty" the games are.

Did anyone else pick against the Pac-12 in every first round game except Oregon? I have them losing in the sweet 16, but I do not believe in the inflated RPI numbers of the PAC-12 at all.
I made a mistake. I picked Utah to win their first game to. I always forget they are in the PAC-12 now.
Unless you have money riding, of course...but if this is just a free-entry bracket, wouldn't you trade it being completely hosed if it means Sparty loses in the opening round to a 15-seed?
But yeah, it's obviously way early, and I don't think it'll last. It's fun to think about, tho, for sure. ;-)

This VCU game is exciting!
1. So glad I have two monitors. Can put game on one and turn it so it cant be seen as people walk by, put actual work-type stuff on the one they can see.
2. They wont let you change channels during a commercial those sneaky bastards.
3. They make you watch a commercial everytime you do successfully change channels those same sneaky, sneaky bastards.
