How are you watching/following/etc the game today?

Submitted by JeepinBen on

Many of us have to "work" and have "jobs" and aren't supposed to just "watch basketball" for two hours in the middle of the day. How are you following the game?

I'm probably just refreshing twitter on my phone more frequently than usual, but I may stream the audio through headphones... not sure yet

BTN2Go in an open tab on my second screen at work. It's hardly visible to anyone that walks by, so I will still be "working".

it doesnt really matter because its a toss up anyway and even if we win, IU beats us by 20 tomorrow officially sending us to the NIT.  This team is too frustrating to watch.   They could look really good today, then we all know tomorrow, they will be 5-30 on 3s, not play defense, miss layups and look like a MAC team again.

I'm off today so I'll be watching but I couldn't take tomorrow off so I'll give the block off the world method and watch on ESPN3 replay when I get home (should we have a game).

Will be the first MBB game I won't be able to watch live in 6 years. That was the Gardner-Webb game which wasn't televised.

Yeah sober it'll be. I may have 1 beer during the game then celebrate or drown the sorrow at about 3:45. All to wake up again tomorrow at 3:30am and do it all over again.

Is online streaming still a thing?

There used to be sites that would stream BTN all day, but they don't seem to work anymore.  Even firstrowsports hasn't been carrying the games lately.  Is there a BTN feed out there still? Looking for one you don't need to pay for, obviously.

Between the Galaxy Note 5 that I tote around and the extensive Wi-Fi coverage in the building, I can have the game at my desk and be "unavailable" from noon to 2 PM or so. Yeah, some stuff will get done, but it will probably be the stuff that only requires periodic attention. It may also be put on in a conference room here because there are enough Michigan people in the building that Michigan games tend to end up on a TV or two when they occur during work hours, so it isn't as if I'll be the only person doing this.

I'm sitting at my desk at work. I'm going to use BTN2Go on one laptop to watch

and I probably won't get any work done from 12-2 but fuck it. MICH is more important.

Sad to say I've completely given up on this team. Thought about doing the long lunch thing and watching this game, but it just isn't worth it. Sorry not sorry. To all of those who actually give up your emotions and your time on this team, let me know how it works out for you. I'm done.

It's so damn stupid how much I love March Madness and the first few days of action starting next week (hell, starting last weekend, UNI going dancing on a buzzer beater!). But it's just going to be that much better if "my" team is a part of the tournament, even though they realy aren't a quality team. There's no way they can get past Indiana but IF they can even get past NW today I'll still be watching.

May actually watch a bit out of morbid curiosity. Like a car wreck that is so bad you just can't turn away.
