Someone mentioned it to me when it came out but I never got around to it - I did read the reviews though and I think I might pencil this one in though. As someone who watched more of these types of films growing up than I would care to admit normally, a sendup of them sounds like a good time really.

Are you referring to the greatest movie ever made? Then yes, i have seen Kung Fury. On par with Black Dynamite IMHO, but just slightly ahead.

I saw it right around the time it came out and can echo the same sentiments. It's just a fun awesome way to kill 45 minutes. Just turn your brain off, kick back with your beverage of choice and enjoy.

movie theater at the beginning of Quentin Tarantinos True Romance movie made it a cult classic type of movie. I have watched this movie ten times at least. With actors like Christopher Walken, Val Kilmer, Brad Pitt, Patricia Arquette, Dennis Hopper, Gary Oldman, Christian Slater. This movie could not fail even with the title of the movie sounding like something I would never pick up. It made Kung Foo movies (if you will) more appealing to me. I recommend this movie to anyone who has not yet seen it, and also advise them to get out more often. It came out sometime in the 90's I believe but definetely one of Quentins finest IMHO.

Saw it when it first came out on Netflix because there was a Tyrannosaurus rex on the picture. It's awesome if you are looking to turn the brain off and laugh hysterically.

When I watched it, all I could think of is that I was watching the movie adaptation of games like Final Fight or Streets of Rage that I would play for hours as a kid. It was clear that whoever made it was into the same crazy videos I rented and games I played as a kid. I loved it.

Fantastic

laser-raptors, triceratop-headed cop with a brittish accent

thor & machinegun-toting viking babes

kung fu Hitler . . .

could use some gratuitous boobs, but otherwise this film has it all.
