about that, saying in essence that they wanted to handle it some different way, but with no further details.  i was wondering if the thread had somehow turned snarkey after bed time or something.

i did enjoy reading about grendel, what a champ.  hopefully we'll get a system together to do others.

without a helmet and in the booth. He's "old".  Tony's last year, too.

Carl Edwards spoke at our sales kick-off meeting last month.  I got to chat with him a little after lunch.  Very nice guy and a great sense of humor.  He was dirt poor and climbed his way up in the racing world.  With Jeff gone, he's my new favorite,

No Country for Old Men is overrated.  I have watched it several times, it is periodically captivating but I think the Coen brothers kind of took some essential themes from the book and either cut them entirely or altered them to the extent that the movie does not know what it is about.  Tommy Lee Jones was also criminally underutilized in what could have been an epic role.  I would have preferred a more seasoned, conventional director (i.e. Eastwood probably) for that particular material.

There Will Be Blood was the best picture that year and no damn Academy is going to tell me otherwise.
