I was watching the second half with my 7 year old daughter.  It was easily one of the best "Michigan moments" of my life.  We got home from the in-laws and watched the entire second half together.  She was always either resting her elbow or head on my shoulder.

After almost every whistle, I tried to explain to her what just happened analytically.
"That wasn't a great choice to shoot that.  Why?  Because he was falling away from the basket."
"Ball movement needs to be better.  That's how guys get open to take shots."

When MAAR went on his "my hands are faster than lightening" kick, it made me tingle to say to my daughter "That's why we work hard, sweetie.  We do our best, and good things sometimes happen."
"What do you mean, daddy?"
(replay starts)
"Watch him use his brains and his skill to do that."
". . . Awesome!"

from a buddy.  but i haven't pulled the plug on the TV for the year, so we got to watch.

very nice win.  loved that we showed up very well on interior defense against a team that has some monsters up front, and we scored 20+ pts in the paint too.   now keep that going the last 5 games.

Many prayers were answered.

Incredible to win a game when we had like a 6 minute scoreless stretch, probably missed like 15 of 17 shots in one stretch?!

Lot of work to do still, but a great effort late and a great win!
