He compared Demar to OJ. As much as I dislike OSU and their players, I would never wish anything bad happen to them (career ending injuries and what not). I can't say I feel the same way towards Sharp.

This guy is an absolute clown. The kid got acquitted. This usually means there is little to no evidence he committed the crime. He is a 16 year old. So, what you are saying Drew, is that a 16 year old kid making a mistake shouldn't get a chance to get a college education. Shit, if that was the case, I'd not have made it to AA.

Serious clown. Doesn't deserve to speak a word of any substance on Demar. While he may be a risk, he deserves a chance.

Shutup, Sharp.

as a reporter, they have to ask RR that question or they're doing a shitty job. They have to when we had a Feagin dismissed for drug-related charges and you're doing a story about a stud athlete with a potentially checkered past.

That being said, one of the big issues with this is that he keeps saying he was acquitted. From what I've been reading, he was not acquitted; the charges were dropped.

A good reporter would ask that question to RR, but a good reporter would also find out what the hell the charges were for themselves before questioning the coach about it.

Quite frankly I don't give a crap what you've "been reading", what you've "been reading" is wrong. Check the damn court records for Broward County. They're easily available online. Florida has some of the best public records laws in the country. USE THE TOOLS THAT ARE AVAILABLE TO YOU AND STOP RELYING ON OTHER PEOPLE'S SHITTY WORK.

What a C-Sucker. The negativity and his rant is unbelievable. Where the f did that non-sense even come from?
The whole "doesn't know who his daughter is dating?" meme was way over the top. In addition, way to condemn the whole Florida legal system as well as Rodriguez who "didn't give a true answer."
How are these not libelous statements that he is not being sued or fired for (like last time.)

Also, FYI Drew, those guys who pay attention to signing day (and supposedly have children who can't keep a thought for more than 5 seconds...?) are the ones reading your shit and paying your bills.

He does realize he's reporting on signing day right? "OMW Signing Day sucks! Listen to me talk about signing day on signing day! OMW this sucks so bad! I hate this!"

he would have to prove that Sharp made a knowledgeably false and damaging remark. Sharp spoke to the idea of repeat offense, not to the explicit morality of the individual. While he may have remarked he is incredulous as to the legitimacy of a 'fair trial' for a prep athlete, this is not court-worthy material. He would have had to say explicitly graphic accusations for this to be a 'credible lawsuit.'

Legal knowledge ftw

and why the hell did you claim you bet he would have a credible filing? law student? lawyer? etc?

"he would have to prove that Sharp made a knowledgeably false and damaging remark."

Why does almost everyone almost always forget that the standard for actual malice is knowingly false (as you said) OR made with reckless disregard for the truth?

I just finished listening to this, and I'm wondering what they said afterward the commercial. Where does Drew "draw the line"? Did anybody hear what he said after that? It was obviously getting heated and he might've said even more completely baseless and stupid things.
