One or both of those guys may have to be four year starters after redshirting. Look at the '16 signing day depth chart on the offensive line. I wish we had signed more big bodies this year.

yep several more 300 pounders wouldve been nice.

bredeson and onwenu both have the ability to play at high level, just a matter of how quickly they refine technique, mentally acclimate, grasp schemes, etc.   theyll see the practice reps as im sure the staff wants them to help the team this fall and potentially start in 2 years but OL development can obviously be tricky.

im sure jimbo has a plan - i just hope they enjoy a nice hit ratio this class and next bc theyll need youngsters to step up and play big early at several spots (with OL the most obvious given the numbers and the lack of development of some current OL depth).  itll be interesting.  theyll no doubt be able to pitch early PT on the trail so hopefully that helps lock up elite 2017 OL

I'm also going with Onwenu. He's too huge and athletic to ignore. He's so big and so strong, but with his long arms it will be too tough for opposing DTs to get off him. We should put him at RG and Bredeson at RT and only run right. No one will be able to stop us.

I used to have a shirt with the O that said "Ohio Sucks."  Wore it to an OSU at Purdue game (I know, West Lafayette/Purdue, but I'm in Indy and knew a guy who was playing for the Buckeyes).  All day people walking by would yell "O-H" or "Go Bucks" to me.  So frustrating I had to throw the shirt away.  /cool story bro

I'm with Hudson, but I wanna kinda fudge the question a bit.

Let's say with our great coaching staff 2/3 of these players will meet, or even exceed, their perceived ceilings. So the excitement will evolve with the class. The OP didn't state the time frame we had to be excited, So:

Most excited short-term (i.e. 2016) - Bush Jr & Hudson. Immediate contibutors, Bush being our best LB by the time conference play starts, Hudson allowing Jabrill to play more on O.

Most excited for overall potential to be All-Americans and generational players - Peters, Bredeson, Asiasi, Long, and maybe Mitchell if he becomes a "not boring" playmaking safety.

But I'm still actually most excited about Onwenu as a NT, but with the lack of other OL in this class that looks like a pipe dream now. I think he could be a Top-10 in the draft type player at NT. if I hae to pick one guy and I get to decide how to use him!!!

I too vote Hudson. I think he has the raw ability and instincts to be a star. I don't see him getting a ton of run his first season since he will be buried in the defensive backfield and at running back if they try him there. I actually wouldn't mind seeing him bulk up to play a run stopping nickelback type roll like MSU utilizes as their Star-backer.

He's the type of player our new DC wants and that we haven't had for some time. I'm anxious to see how he gets deployed. Likewise, I want to see what Hudson can do without yet knowing his role.

I'm looking forward to seeing Asiasi. I think he plays a lot right away and is going to develop into a weapon that Harbaugh knows how to maximize.

After watching Brown's D at BC, these guys will have to be difference makers.  By the way, how happy is Don Brown today???  These guys don't arrive in Chestnut Hill, well until they become stars in Foxboro so they can afford living there.

Is it too early to start looking at the sites for the future NC games.  Gotta love the possibility of these guys peaking when the game is in Santa Clara..

We need a shifty guy that can play the slot. He will burn teams with his speed when they are forced to double others like Butt. That sounds funny..

The kid is a former QB (actually played QB in the state title game @3:20 in the video) and his high school coach calls him the most physical blocker they've ever had.
