Where are we ranked next week in hockey?

I'm going to say either 4th or 3rd nationally. We'll pass Providence for sure who lost.

If you don't refresh the threads in the HD app and the thread or reply is removed from the site you can still see it and reply to it. My guess is threads are not actually deleted but just removed from public view.  The HD App doesn't seem to follow the sites rules when it comes to showing threads or replies.  Once you restart the APP they are usually gone.

I'm scared to get ranked to high this week and then have to play at Munn. Losing to them would destroy our pairwise momentum and they have nothing else to play for.

This is going to be a one-bid league unless someone steals the autobid which is certainly plausible. Minnesota just gakked one against a mediocre Bemidji squad which somehow makes the Big Ten look even worse

Win the B1G title and make the tournament. Seeding in hockey is not as important as getting a favorable matchup. BTW, single game elimination tourney in hockey is ridiculous. I don't mind it in the championship game or even the Frozen Four, but before that it should be a best of three. That way you won't get as many fluke upsets.

The polls are completely, totally irrelevant. The Pairwise ranking (mostly consisting of RPI) is all that matters. KRACH is the only other rank that's even interesting. I stop looking at polls after December--they have virtually no bearing on what's happening on the ice, and absolutely no bearing on the tournament. And the PWR is updated constantly, so you can know Michigan's rank right now. And get the final tally for the week after the late games finish wrapping up.

We need some work on D or risk getting exposed by more talented teams than the b10 has to offer these days. If we can tighten up there we could be dangerous come tourney time. Defense wins championships. Unless you score 6 a game. Which will be much harder to do come tourney time.

Pairwise says 4. If this team can find some defense they will have a chance to run the table, however if the defense doesn't improve the format of the NCAA tournament is scary for this team. All it will take is for a great defensive team to shut the offense down and this team is screwed.
