PSYCHED! Heading to Welsh Ryan tonight to cheer on the team

Submitted by Wendyk5 on
First, hot dogs at Mustard's, then on to Welsh Ryan, where my son and I will be in the fifth row somewhere behind the Michigan bench. I'm conserving my voice today so I can yell my ass off tonight. The last game I went to, the Michigan fans out-cheered the Northwestern fans by a good margin. Let's do it again, people! GO BLUE!

Cheer us on with all your heart! Wish I could do it, that sounds like a fun thing to do. We NEED this win. The last couple games I think we can all agree that the team has improved it's play; we need to win this one to show the 'powers that be' -and ourselves- that we indeed are worthy of a 'Big Dance' invite. I'll be checking it out at home, GO BLUE!!!

I think there will be a strong Michigan contingent there tonight. Have a bunch of friends who live in the city coming out to Evanston, and a bunch of my fellow Michigan undergrad friends who are also in the Kellogg (NU) MBA program will be there as well. Hopefully we'll make some noise...

We used to live near Evanston and my wife and I would have a ball at the UM games in Welsh-Ryan. The atmosphere and fieldhouse was always like a rowdy high school game. After the game we'd head to Yesterday's and have a couple of "pops" with the locals. Great memories - have fun with your son tonight and Go Blue!!!

I once was at a game when the Fab-5 played in Evanston and the Cats were being blown out so bad that the band was playing show tunes like Hello-Dolly and We Got Trouble In River City. Mustards is the best! Have fun.

I live in Chicago but unfortunately I have an exam in my grad program tonight. I can't even watch the game on espn 360 during class like I did for last week's MSU game.
