Seantrel is not a Buckeye. "Seantrell Hendreson", however, is.

Also,

"Hendersonk, reportedly, selected the Buckeyes from a short list that also included Florida (visited December 18th, Iowa, Miami of Florida (visited land weekend), Minneosta (reportedly visited unofficially), Notre Dame (visited October 17th), Ohio State (visited September 11th, Oklahoma, Southern Cal (visited December 4th), Michigan and UCLA."

Hendersonk, excess commas, "selected the Buckeyes from a short list that also included...Ohio State".

Yeah, that article's legit.

If this is true, it wouldn't be extremely surprising. Pretty much every prediction I have seen today has him going to OSU.

Take it for what it is worth, but that is the same site & editor that reported that Pitt has been added to the Big Ten. We'll see, but I think Henderson is more likely to end up at USC than OSU.

That guy is an offensive line all by himself. Sorry to see him go over to the dark side. It would be fun to see Will Campbell battle with him if they ever go head to head.

collegefootballtalk.com had a piece a couple days ago where the author cited "inside sources" that Henderson indeed is a quiet Buckeye commit.

What I don't understand is, why would an OT want to go to anOSU? They haven't put out an OT since Orlando Pace.

at the bottom of this link. What do you know - he's a 255lb DT. Sounds like they are set for DT...I hope.

Edit: Doh! it's dated 1-13-2010. The drama continues.

all that much. if there's a position that has been under developed at ohio st. the past few years its the OL. no matter who they put in there they can't seem to get it right. of course when you don't use blocking sleds in practice...

He's the number 2 recruit in the country. Ohio State has wiped their ass with the Michigan football program the past decade. With a Jake Long prototype blocking for whatever monster back they're going to put on the field....damn.

You cannot possibly blow off this development.

from a friend of mine that lives in minnesota that henderson was tutored by sweater vest's niece. his brother apparently lives in the area and they have that connection with henderson. the same friend told me he is a lock for o$u.

i know he said he wanted to go to a program with good oline tradition, i dont see how ostate has that. they have had pace and mangold, while michigan is a oline factory pumping out starters and probowlers and #1 overall draft pics. Go south mr henderson or stay in your backyard.

I agree with Obes. Other than Nick Mangold, I don't think Tressel has produced a noteworthy NFL offensive lineman. Even guys like Mike Adams, JB Shugarts, Alex Boone, Jim Cordle, Ben Person, etc. haven't developed into anything special despite being heavily recruiting in high school (although, to be fair, Adams and Shugarts only just finished their second years).
