Also, Sam Webb believes momentum in Hill's recruitment has swung to Michigan.

know exactly why, but I think Hill is going to State and I have felt that way for a while now.  Call it a hunch.

Most likely; too many Chipotle wrappers turned into tin-foil hats.

Norovirus is a relatively common foodborne pathogen.

The E.Coli 026 infection is pretty interesting; O157 is the most common (and lethal), there have only been 6 documented O26 outbreaks.  IF you have a multistate outbreak with the same genotype, you can make the argument that there is a common source that 'spiked' Chipotle in multiple locations.

However, it is much more likely that, given Chipotle's patchwork food distribution, something from one of their organic suppliers that was infected, got mixed into their regional distribution system.

OK, since we're talking about food borne pathogens... My favorite food of all time is Kibbeh Nayyeh, which is a Middle Eastern food comprised mostly of finely ground raw lamb. I eat it whenever I find it in the US, which is pretty rare given that restaurants avoid selling raw meats. I have eaten it at open air markets with no refrigeration around the Arab world many times, most recently last fall.

So here is my question: How soon will I die? I assume it is really soon, but wanted an MD's more precise opinion... :-D

It feels like we have lead for him for a LONG time and he keeps not committing. When someone has a leader forever without committing, it usually turns up being a different team last second.

Prove me wrong, Lavert!

FWIW, Sam was feeling the same pre-MSU official but changed back to Michigan post-MSU official/Michigan unofficial. Listened to the recruiting roundup today, and he made it clear that he's not as confident as some of his compadres at Scout, but that's mostly because of the back-and-forth nature of his recruitment since Durkin's departure - sounds like everything he's hearing RIGHT NOW is Michigan. To me it sounds like he's made his decision after the MSU visit, but minds change and such.

The Little Brother/Big Brother stuff stopped being funny long before even Rich Rodriguez got canned.

But hey, guys, there's this really neat new show called "Lost" you should check out. It's about these people and they get stranded on an island after their plane crashes and there's a Smoke Monster. It's pretty fly (for a white guy). Haha.

It's an admission that they wrote themselves into corners throughout the series and finally just gave up on trying to make sense.  It's too bad, the show was brilliant to start off with, but there was just oo much "Wouldn;t it be cool if?" and it ran off the rails.  Not as badly as Ryan Murphy shows do, but it gets to the heart of my issue with J.J. Abrams.  Guy is brilliant at getting things started and creates intriguing characters, concepts, and visuals, but holy hell he can't close.

... no one can write a decent ending to anything anymore it seems.  I wonder if part of that has to do with trying to sum up something that was just supposed to be entertaining rather than convey some sort of moral truth.  Or maybe they want to convey something, they just can't figure out what since they haven't worked it out for themselves yet.  Who knows.  All I know is that nearly all endings are crap these days.
