Jackhammers never stop.

The Mone hype has already started !
January 16th, 2016 at 1:05 PM ^
Interesting. You have mad inference skills. He said "if". Not hype, so much.
January 16th, 2016 at 1:20 PM ^
Elliot said Mone is Michigan's best d-lineman.

It's cloudy, drizzly, and chilly here in SoCal this morning. A totally shitball day. Too bad Rashan and his mom won't see sunny skies here. Wah, wahhhhh...

Man I woke up and looked outside after you said this. You're a liar! I wanted a drizzly saturday!
January 16th, 2016 at 1:21 PM ^
Sun is trying to peak through over he Newport peninsula. Still kinda shitty out, though.

Yeah, it was pretty cold out here today, I had to wear a long sleeve shirt with my shorts.
January 17th, 2016 at 1:38 AM ^
Cali weather is pretty good, unless you're comparing it to Hawai'i.
January 16th, 2016 at 3:57 PM ^
...for the pool but I'm going to try it anyway.
January 16th, 2016 at 11:58 AM ^
Michigan is working to flip a lot of people, doesn't mean it's likely but unless the recruit tells them to stop they will keep trying until they sign their LOI. That's the way this staff views it, a fight to the very end. They are still recruiting Delance, would be recruiting Nauta if he hadn't enrolled, kept after Long while he was a Stanford commit.
January 16th, 2016 at 1:01 PM ^
Michigan trying to flip other team's players makes them work harder to keep them and forces them to spend less time trying to get our commits.
January 16th, 2016 at 12:00 PM ^
I'm sure MSU won't mind. Starz are overrated.
January 16th, 2016 at 12:14 PM ^
Exactly, plus they recruit nationally.

...so I hear.
January 16th, 2016 at 12:03 PM ^
If he's the real deal, our defensive line will be tremendous with at least five all-conference type of guys + Marshall would be a fill guy. Godin if offered a fifth year would be a quality depth guy. Then you toss in a Freshman (Gary?, Elliott, Kemp, Johnson) or two and we are in business.
January 16th, 2016 at 12:08 PM ^
I hope MSU doesn't flip that PSU running back too.
January 16th, 2016 at 2:28 PM ^
No worries. Only one ball on the field.
January 16th, 2016 at 12:12 PM ^
I'm on board.

Didn't Elliott commit during the Ohio State game, though?
January 16th, 2016 at 7:12 PM ^
during bowl practices. He's seen Mone on the field. It's an encouraging tidbit.
January 16th, 2016 at 12:23 PM ^
Interesting. I assume we're trying to flip him from MSU to Michigan, but even if there isn't space, I could see encouraging him to go somewhere other than State (like outside the Big10)
January 16th, 2016 at 12:26 PM ^
I'm hearing we're actually trying to flip him to Clemson.
January 16th, 2016 at 12:32 PM ^
We are paying him to go to Ole Miss
January 16th, 2016 at 1:15 PM ^
Oh, wait, they are still here.
January 16th, 2016 at 2:41 PM ^
NO, no, no, it is Maryland as that was a nice Durkin parting gift, along with a year's supply of Turtle Wax....
January 16th, 2016 at 12:33 PM ^
Hahaha! I thought the same thing. Who else would we be flipping him to?
January 16th, 2016 at 2:34 PM ^
Actually, I think they are literally trying to physically flip him. Not to UM or any other school, but lift him off his feet into the air and rotate his body 360 degrees. They've got Harbaugh, Mattison, and that grizzled veteran street cop we hired as DC and they're currently limbering-up for the challenge. I personally like their chances, given that Harbaugh eats enough steak and whole milk to kill a grizzly via cholesterol-related heart disease.
January 16th, 2016 at 2:49 PM ^
Harbaugh eats whole milk? What CAN'T this guy do??
January 16th, 2016 at 5:09 PM ^
Create a rock so heavy that Harbaugh cannot lift it.

January 16th, 2016 at 8:13 PM ^
He'll flip ya. Flip ya for real!
January 16th, 2016 at 12:36 PM ^
Flip him to EMU.
January 16th, 2016 at 12:33 PM ^
One of the strangest comments I've seen recently - why would you think we'd try to flip a recruit anywhere other than Michigan?

Oops, I guess my joke wasn't obvious enough.
January 16th, 2016 at 12:48 PM ^
C'mon. That wasn't a joke. That was your real opinion.

As a fan, I wish that if he doesn't go to Michigan, that if be happier if he didn't go to MSU. That said, I think we all know that the coaching staff at Michigan wouldn't waste their time on trying to flip a kid from MSU to another school, no matter how much I wish they would.
I'll also admit my joke wasn't very funny in retrospect.
January 16th, 2016 at 2:40 PM ^
You may want to check, because I believe your pants are actually on fire right now.
January 16th, 2016 at 2:45 PM ^
I think it may have been extinguished by now....

Very few "jokes" that aren't actually jokes are funny, in retrospect or any other time.
You said something stupid. It happens, man.

The joke was funny in retrodisrespekt.

That Crawford was not one of the silent commits Peters was talking about at the AA Game. Back to speculation time. Long and Hill?
January 16th, 2016 at 12:40 PM ^
Eh, doesn't sound too promising. Is King even going to visit Michigan between now and signing day?

I go to MSU. Heck, they would have beaten Alabama, but they just got a little out of sorts. A LITTLE?!? I kid, I kid, it was those darn two hour bus rides that did them in. Quoting Mark D'Antonio,
“We spent two hours on the bus going back and forth, two different times, for media day. … the luncheon, day before the game was a two-hour ordeal, back and forth. We had an eight o’clock picture, and then we had (more) pictures at some point in time. So, again, back and forth, and I think we got a little outta sorts.
Disrespekted by a bus. Now I've heard it all.

Why can't he just be honest and say that Alabama was the better team in every way, and as such gave us the ass kicking we so richly deserved?
January 16th, 2016 at 12:52 PM ^
Because he is the victim in every situation he is ever in.

especially when he was shut out. . .

as Saban held him down the Bama offense repeatedly thrust the football into MSU's endzone over and over.. Till the offense could thrust no more, then the Bama team was crowned winners!
Edit: Hard to spell with only one hand on the keyboard.
