The issues are recruiting at a Michigan level and that is still a MAJOR issue. I think more attention needs to be focused on Bakari and what he's done with his bigs. Donnal has surprisingly turned into a legitimate starter while the rest have tapered into mere members of the team. That is not okay and needs to be rectified. Beating the #3 team is great but many...myself included want to get to the point where WE are ranked #3 again. We were just there a few years ago. The aforementioned issues prevent us from reaching that goal. However, this was a Hell of a win and huge for our tournament hopes. Beilein is a great basketball coach and he won a huge game tonight. The entire program should feel great as well as us fans!

you mean like recruiting Chapman who was one of our best recruits after McGary? Or getting Mp Wagner from a pro team in Germany?

Beilein has recruited better at the 4/5. the problem is that they aren't panning out. I'd say that is more an indictment on Bacari.

The user BRIHJ. He predicted a 10-20 point blowout and yelled at all Michigan fans, calling us "little bitches" for thinking we would win tonight. I don't make this up. Hopefully mods might see his posts as well. Also, BRIHJ, you can SUCK IT!!! Suck it so much, you jackass. (Sorry for the foul language)

I know--we seem to have the maddening habit of letting the other team claw back at the end. I actually half expected Donnal to miss the front end of the one-and-one, just to set up the agonizing prospect of a Maryland dagger to win it. But a win is a win!!

He played better than I thought he did. He was pretty wild when he wasn't shooting 3's though. Box score only gives him 2 TO's but I felt like he had more. 10 rebounds though. Only 4 assists. 12 points on 13 FGA.
