UM QB recruit Conelius Jones now a 3-star, No. 60 QB
What the hell is going on over a Scout.com? He went from 2-star No. 106 QB to oh my god. That's a pretty significant jump.

Has a tendency to hold the ball a little too long. Has an incredible body to add size and would be able to excel at another position.
Jesus, what are we talking about here? NTTAWTT...

That's about right. That whole write up is on par with I saw in my evaluations. My guess is that Scout originally only evaluated him based upon film or maybe one game his junior year and finally just got around to updating things based upon his senior year. If that's what they did then his initial evaluation that they were basing his evaluation on was done during his first year of organized football, so year, I can see why there'd be a jump.

I interpret everything you post as yelling. I am certain that it has everything to do with your avatar. Just an observation.
Does anyone else have that reaction to BlockM's posts?

Go Co!

If he ever starts, someone needs to photoshop a "Team Co Co" picture of some sort.

but I noticed something more important on GBW. According to them, FIVE Michigan coaches are flying down for an in-home at the Dorsey residence. Talk about making a big impression. I hope this is not old news, but I didn't see it on the board.

Imagine all 5 coaches rolling up to Dorseys porch with this song playing.

is that normal? Do the coaches sense commitment blood in the water?

did you find the avatar? I must have it.

I imagine they believe Dorsey can start at S next season, and do a relatively good job of protecting deep with his speed and athleticism.
It must have been pretty cramped with five coaches flying down in that tiny plane. It appears that they are staying the night in Miami, so hopefully we don't get any pictures of them all drunk at a strip club or something.

Something like this, perhaps?

We interrupt this thread for an important announcement...
That does seem kinda big, like college football's version of having all the living US Presidents in one place at the same time. Must be big...

I stumbled upon this as I was following the link, and was too lazy to start my own thread. And then I wasn't lazy anymore and started my own thread.

Is Coner 2.0 now higher rated than what Coner was?
January 28th, 2010 at 11:09 PM ^
Coner was a 3-star #33 pro-style quaterback. Don't know what he was with the dual-threats added in though.

The Original Cone was #1 and will always be #1.

Am a Cone Head!!!!

I believe the 46 QBs he jumped all had a terrible case of Montezuma's Revenge after the ill-fated "Playing in the MAC, Sun Belt, and Conference USA: What You Need to Know" conference in Cozumel.

He went from 106 to 60 because somebody actually did their job and evaluated him?
January 29th, 2010 at 12:34 AM ^
I'd say that's most likely right.
January 29th, 2010 at 1:21 AM ^
Tate, then DROB and then Conelius! This will allow Garnder to take a redshirt too have two stellar season following Tate!! And DROB can be hybrid RB/slot and Corelius can back up Tate in 2011!!! We need DROB's speed out there on the field during the 2011 and 2012 seasons!

I'm actually 100% sure that Conelius will redshirt. Either Adam Kennedy or Nick Sheridan will be our "third" string, but if it comes down to it, Devon Gardner will be the QB used if(God forbid) Tate and Denard got hurt.
