ONE Crystal Ball flipped to Ohio State for Chris Evans
Harbaugh can't close!!!! /s I just saw that a Jeremiah Sharpe flipped his crystal ball to Ohio State for Chris Evans. I am just wondering if anyone has heard any rumblings at all. As far as I know, no visits have been set up. Is this guy just figuring that because Ohio State offered, that's good enough to sway his prediction? It is just ONE crystal ball but I'm hoping this isn't a "where there's smoke, there's fire" kind of thing. I know this class is going to be amazing when it's all said and done, just curious if anyone has heard anything.

I really only follow recruiting through here, so who is Jeremiah Sharpe? Does he have any Ohio State ties that would lead someone to think its just a shot in the dark or does he maybe have insider info?

Not that I'm aware of. I had never really heard of him either. He is a recruiting analyst for "men of the scarlet and gray". Never heard of that either. He has a 50% for crystal ball predictions so not really that impressive.

Pay no attention to him. He writes for an OSU site and clearly doesn't have any info. If you look at his Crystal Ball predictions, he predics 2/3's of his predictions to OSU and overall is predicting less than 50% correctly.

He's Drew Sharp's Columbus cousin....always writing articles to troll OSU fans with his click-bait material. Here, he employes the ol 'bait-n-switch' method, whereby he drops a mythical CB in OSU's favor, and then, later, when Urbs misses out on the kid to Sir James he'll troll the OSU fanbase with high anxiiety claims that Harbuagh's getting under Urbs skin. This schtick somehow works in the print medial...

I believe that was either Kiante Enis or Sir Patrick Scott. There were rumblings early in september or october that Evans was looking around, but then he reaffirmed his commitment.

OSU has done well strategically with leaving us little since RR until now...... this isn't coincidental that they offer Evans now.... I read that Evans is a big OSU fan, too.

Long is to coming to us, but I think Hill and Corley go to MSU, but only because I think he'd have committed by now to us, and it seems hes waiting on Corley.

I remember there being some talk that Evans would flip to OSU if they offered him, but that was months ago. It's possible that OSU is going to miss out on some guys they were hoping to land and now they are going after Evans.

After this week, none of us should be surprised to see a slew of OSU offers going out. Even the OSU insiders did not expect everyone that could have declared for the NFL to do so. I think it took them by surprise, and they are scrambling now to adjust to it.
