damn hard choice. Both teams we gave a W to. Imma go with the ND team because the osu win by state is much better than anything that nd team did

MSU. Perhaps I am way off, but I didn't think Notre Dame had as much pure luck in their season to prevent losses. MSU was in several close games against TERRIBLE teams this year. So satisfying to see them exposed just as it was in 2012 with ND

ND got lucky to beat us in south bend that year. We outgained them on offense and was in the redzone 100 times and denard or somebody else fumbled in the redzone 100 times

than they had points in margin of victory haha. Then look at the Pitt game on the Pitt FG attempt to win. ND had two players on the block team wearing #2 with a ref standing right behind them with no call. Not even counting the 2 Phantom PI calls to get them to OT. Then the Stanford OT game where Taylor scores and they call it no TD. Just an entire year of BS calls in their favor and I barely scratched the surface. ND was atrocious that year and msu looked like they belonged on the field for a half tonight.

Wasn't that the year ND didn't get called for two players on the field with the same number against Pitt that would have given Pitt a first down and ended the game? Instead ND pulled it out.

I'd have to go with Notre Dame. I mean, not many people were giving MSU a lot of respect and over hyped praise this year. Many people looked at them as being fortunate with some of their wins.

That Notre Dame team went undefeated in the regular season including wins against UM, MSU, Oklahoma, USC, Miami, and Stanford. Their resume was so much better than 2015 MSU it's apples and oranges. Both got exposed but only one of them didn't score a point in doing so.

please enlighten me.

they beat USC, Stanford, MSU, Miami, and Oklahoma all in one regular season AND they went undefeated.

tell me the last time a big ten team had a resume that good in the regular season.

every team that goes undefeated lucks out in a game or two. it's just the way college football works.

msu's resume pales in comparison to ND's in 2012. also, did you notice the score of the two games? MSU was beaten much worse.

LSU was shutout by bama the following year but nobody said LSU was undeserving.

That ND game was over by the end of the 1st quarter.  Seriously ... by the end of the first quarter of that ND game it was so painfully obvious Alabama was toying with a very overmatched ND team.

Tonight's game was plausibly close until the 3rd.  Alabama wore MSU down.  But it took more than a quarter to show it.

Maybe the 2011 Alabama team was that much better.  But if I compare the two games, MSU put in a better showing at first, but fell apart in the 2nd half.
