Haha, how does someone get that angry over Womens Basketball?

Funny until "I am not gonna sleep." Then, sad.

Just couldn't finish, like allways.... WHATTHEFUCKEVER.

our last 2 possessions were absolutely horrible. 2 air balls...come on...horrible coaching...they had 18 turnovers and we still lost. Douglas is just unbearable to watch sometimes. What a frustrating disappointment of a season. Welcome to the NIT. Play hard you deserve it.
January 26th, 2010 at 9:20 PM ^
Dude, on our last possession Douglass got free for what could have been a layup. Not the coach's fault he passed it up and gave it to Sims (who was wide-open).
January 26th, 2010 at 9:21 PM ^
How can you blame the coach for fucking air balls? Come on man.
January 26th, 2010 at 9:15 PM ^
The reality is that in the last 40 seconds Sims shot a wide open 20ft air-ball and missed a finish you would expect a big time player to make. I like him - don't misread this - it is just what we have - he is probably just short of the very best players at that position.
It hurts - this would have been huge.
January 26th, 2010 at 9:18 PM ^
I agree... shot selection was not the best on that one... he should have driven to the basket and picked up a foul at worst, and 2 pts at best, instead of airballing a 3 he misses 99/100 times.
January 26th, 2010 at 9:21 PM ^
It wasn't the best shot but keep in mind, he had made two threes earlier in the game, and he was wide open. Unfortunately, he aired it.

He shouldn't have taken that shot. I was yelling NOOOO as soon as I saw him square up. Take it inside or work it around some more.

a great hummer in the driveway and WHAM! Hat's off to the team--chin's up. Entertaining game nonetheless. Now if UK loses fate may begin to smile on all good things under the sun. Whisky of despair it is...

Man, that's a season-killing way to lose, and a kick to the program's nuts. And probably Beilein's best chance to beat MSU for the next 3 years. This one is going to hurt a LONG time. :-(
and they lost and still covered...thought they had it...
Thanks for the updates....I'm outta here for the meltdown...time to stew...

Was I the only one who seen Sims get his jersey held on the last shot? I know there was only two refs, but damn he just can't grab the jersey. The coaches didn't even get mad. BULLSHIT!

I have to admit... I really hate Michigan State. I do.
I hope Rich Rod hangs half a hundred on the Spartans this year.
January 26th, 2010 at 9:29 PM ^
As long as our defense keeps them to less. :)
January 26th, 2010 at 9:43 PM ^
I guess we could pick apart every play that didn't go our way, but we lost by one point. We played good enough D to keep them from beating us by 20. Some calls didn't go our way, as usual. And it was a heartbreaker because it could have gone either way, but tonight it just went the wrong way.

Quick question for those who watched the game on TV. Could you hear the State fans chanting throughout the game? Whenever we went to the free throw line I cringed because I knew their chants would follow.
January 26th, 2010 at 11:40 PM ^
Ewww... I just hit the DVR to check, and the horrible noise is clearly audible during free throws. Other than that - which seems excusable since it's Michigan Fan Quiet Time - the Maize Rage was doing great. I was at Crisler last year to see and hear the enormous green stain in the Gold seats, and the crowd was thousands of times better this time around.
Aside from FTs, the only time I heard anything weird was during a "Go! - Blue!" chant, when the "Blue!" cheers were somewhat obscured by some other noise.

I think thats good news, thanks for checking.
