I'm totally good with Nebraska winning this game. They deserved better than they got this season. TWO last play losses, and they did Michigan and Ohio State a huge favor knocking off Staee, making it possible for OSU to yak up the Division. I was happy they made the Bowl game they deserved, and I hope they win.

Seems each year becoming more about playoffs and whatever game my team is in .

As in none last year.

Is it letdown since at one time even late in year we were at least able to play a semi-legit game of if-come-maybe for our own playoff dream?

The Miami-Washington St. game ("Sun Bowl") has some interesting twists to it -- Miami with Richt incoming but not yet there; WSU with Leach, who seems to be getting his legs under him there.

Indiana-Duke should be a nice matchup.  Lots of points, probably.

UCLA-Nebraska ... I would really like Nebraska to beat UCLA at what is, essentially, a homegame for UCLA.

I think every player gets to travel for a bowl but him being there likely refutes my initial thought that he'd likely not play for off-field reasons that'd go relatively unannounced. Why bring him just to sit him for discipline? I'd assume that he now plays or doesn't truly out of concern for further injury. I think Harbaugh knows he has (likely) one final year with a "once a decade" talent. Would be terrible to have that last year be bogged down by wearing a cast, limiting what he could do.

The clock management and timesouts were rediculous at the end of the half. Marshall should have pushed for a TD and back to back TO's to ice the kicker at the end of the first half...come on.
