No, Nick, $1mm guaranteed for 5 years is nice. But before I answer I need to talk to Jim Harbaugh up in Ann Arbor.

No...I could cancel that meeting if you agree to $1.5 a year with 6 guaranteed, and to buyout on my end. Sure. Send over the contract and if we can get to terms before I fly to DTW on Friday morning, I'll cancel that meeting.

At least he didn't engage in a dog and pony show with an interview with Harbaugh.

Might be the ravens ILB coach as next on agenda if Anderson stays at Stanford or goes to BYU.  Dude coached withh Harbaugh's dad at Western Kentucky.  OH native who also was at Cincy and Notre Dame.

Don “Wink” Martindale is in his fourth year as the Ravens’ inside linebackers coach. In 2014, under his guidance, rookie LB C.J. Mosley and LB Daryl Smith were two of only three NFL defenders to register at least 125 tackles, an INT, a sack, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble. Impressively, Mosley earned Pro Bowl honors, becoming the first rookie in Ravens franchise history to do so. In 2013, Smith led the team with 123 tackles, also setting a Ravens’ single-season record by a linebacker with 19 PD. Smith also posted career highs in sacks (5), INTs (3) and PD (19)

009-10: (with Denver) 2010: Was promoted to defensive coordinator...CB Champ Bailey represented the team in the Pro Bowl. 2009: Joined the Broncos’ coaching staff as the team’s linebackers coach and helped the Denver “D” rank seventh in the NFL (315.0 ypg)...Guided LB Elvis Dumervil (who signed with the Ravens in March 2013), who led the NFL with a then-team-record 17 sacks, to Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro honors in his first year playing LB...D.J. Williams also thrived under Martindale’s leadership, earning a spot as a Pro Bowl alternate.

Lance Anderson then? Or maybe a co-DC starring Jackson and Mattison with Patridge stepping in as lb coach? Or some as yet unknown possibility? I'd be cool with either of the former and trust in Harbaugh on the latter.

I wouldn't be disappointed if Leavitt is the guy.  He is a very good football coach.  USF was very relevant when he was there.  He had them ranked #2 at one point.  After he was removed from there, they were quickly lousy.  He was the LB coach at SF and those were some of the best defenses in the NFL. He did have some all world LB's (chicken or the egg?) in Willis and Bowman.  

Living near USF, you hear things over the years. Lots of rumblings from those in the know that he got a bad wrap on that incident with the USF player.

Apparently I've successfully been able to not focus on college football, or sports, as much as I have in the past because I don't know who that is. In the past I would have googled it and acted like I knew all along. Now, I really couldn't care less. So I'm totally okay with Pruitt's decision.
