Citrus Bowl Tickets

Submitted by Orlando BlueM on

The Florida Citrus Sports Director was on local sports radio this morning in Orlando.  He said that the game is sold out.  Has anyone had any success buying tickets this morning through Mgoblue?  I am trying to buy four, but I keep getting told that they are unable to process the request.  The phone lines are also overwhelmed.

Update:  The phone message says that Michigan has sold out its allotment.

I hope that everyone who has tickets either sells them to people willing to attend or attends themselves. I haven't been to a bowl game before, is it generally a better or worse atmosphere than a normal Gameday?

Probably bad way. I'm sure bowl games are fine and can be really fun, but there is no possible way it comes close to game day in Ann Arbor.

The Rose Bowl or a playoff game may be the only exceptions. Those still aren't the same as a game at the big house, but I'm sure they're incredible in their own ways.

I was wating for 8:30 to hit and then found out they were sold out. The last thing I want is to buy tiks somewhere else and have to sit with annoying redneck Gator fans on a Holiday.

Really want to go to this game but the flights are so damn expensive. Anybody found a decent price flight? Is there another airport within driving distance to Orlando that I don't know about?

Try Orlando Sanford airport. It's a smaller airport on the north side of Orlando. I've flown out of there a few times. It's small and easy to get through security.

I don't have the section/row yet.  The tickets should be in hand in the next week or so.  Bought them during the pre-order from athletic department.  In Michigan section.  $120 each ($240 total) which is what I paid.

Send me an e-mail at [email protected] if interested.

Got 2 from the ticket office at PL9, says general admission on seat location. Anyone with previous trips to the Citrus know how that works?

I got 3 in PL9, which is annoying because this is on the Florida side even though they were sold thru the AD. I live in Florida, so my plan is to try and exchange them with a UF fan down here. But, since the AD only had PL7 and PL9 available this morning, maybe these are UM sections?

They're most likely corner seats, not true "end zone" ones.

Not sure if they will be upper or lower level, but the Citrus Bowl isn't that big so there really isn't a bad seat in the house.

Upper Bowl in the Citrus Bowl is probably not much higher/farther than row 45/50 in The Big House

PL9 is price level 9 which is the ticket office told me was 200 level on the Michigan sideline.  They won't know the exact section and row until until Monday or Tuesday of next week. They hope to mail out tickets next week sometime.

Hello Michigan Fans-

I sent the following email out to the alumni chapters just the other day; but would be happy to offer the same deals for any Michigan fans; see below...

Blue is back in a New Year's day Bowl!  Sure, it's not the Rose Bowl, but it sure feels good after some dark years.

We are reaching out because we have the absolute best prices and selection for this game in the country.  We are a licensed, well-reviewed (A+ rated member of the BBB) ticket brokerage.  We have worked directly with the Citrus Bowl for the past 12 years.  We are an official secondary market partner with the Citrus Bowl and are the source of the majority of the inventory in the secondary marketplace.  Most of the seats you will see on StubHub.com, Ticketmaster+ and other resale sites are coming out of our office.

By working directly with us, you will be purchasing at wholesale prices; without paying their service/retail fees. If you see any ticket price on other sites, we will beat it by 15%.

In addition, we are offering group discounts of 10% for groups of 12+ and 15% off 25+, groups of 50+ get 20% off.  The offer must be redeemed by contacting me directly and paying with one credit card.

Please don't hesitate to shoot me an email or call with the number of tickets you would like to purchase and I will be happy to assist.  To get an idea of pricing, below is a link to our website.  You can see some of our seat locations and pricing-

All the prices you see are the total with ALL service fees inclusive.  No hidden fees or bad surprises at checkout.
