I'm not sure I would be able to handle watching that. Still pray for him and his family though. It it was tough to see his picture up on the scoreboard yesterday at the game.

This was my first thought as well. I can only think of a few famous individuals that have done it. Not knocking it in any way.

I hope it helps continue to get his story out and raise money/awareness. #Chadtough

Many funeral homes offer the service. It's a way for out of town family and friends to be able to particpate. It's not strange at all and in this case where there would likely be a lot of people wanting to attend, a very good idea.

family who knows that many people followed this story, prayed, sent well wishes, donated/still donate money in his name..and that those people may want to share in this moment and tribute to him. People grieve differently.

Maybe this thread will provide some needed perspective for the folks still apoplectic about the game yesterday and our 9-3 record. Disappointment and frustration over sports is one thing but in the grand scheme of things, these are the things that matter. I still can't imagine how it would feel to lose a child.

Very cool they did a moment of silence for Chad pre-game yesterday. Stadium was so quiet you couldn't hear a pin drop.

I watched a bit of it. Lovely tribute to a tough little boy. Hopefully the money they raise in his honor will help some kids battling that disease in the future.
