No doubt far more people clicked on the officiating snowflake before anything team or coaching related.

I mean, they virtually controlled the momentum of the game for large stretches, keeping psu in the game by themselves.

Bacon or someone tweeted following the "low block" call on Jehu that we had 100 yds more in penalties than psu to that point. It got so bad that on the PI in the endzone the DB got up expecting the flag to be on offense!

What if anything can be done? League apologies don't change the outcome of the games, and the refs very nearly changed the outcome today.

All I can really think to say is that the refs find new ways to shock me every week in their pure incompetence. It does not help that the majority of bad calls have gone against us this season.

The officiating has been shit all season, notoriously so the last several weeks. It's maddening not that they're calling Michigan for shit, it's what they call Michigan for while letting opposing teams get away with far worse. I still don't have a clue what it'll take for a targetting call to stand against a not-Michigan player.

that none of us liked, like the defensive holding call on henry early in the game.

the one call that really bugged me though was the 'below the waist' block against chesson in the 4th quarter that i thought was going to be the death of us.  instead of 2nd and 3 at our 33, it was suddenly 1st and about 2,000 from our 13.

PI on lewis when the ball was overthrown by 15 yds.  peppers was even deeper and it was over his head.

PI on peppers when he's the one that got pushed.

and the henry call was BS.  he was being doubled and had a grab on each guy in the chest.  no way that ever gets called.  maybe if he wrapped up the guy, but he didn't.

My wife was behind me reading, looking up whenever I started getting animated after bad calls. I felt like a male stripper today with all my pizzed off gyrating.

I'll only comment on one of the penalties: the "illegal blcok below the waist," which was delivered in the side at about region of the kidneys. Right in front of two or three zebras. Is it eyesight? Is it lack of judgment? The sheer consistency and pervasiveness of the incompetence begs for attention in the off-season. Meanwhile, I wait with bated breath to see which crew shows up in A2 next Saturday.

was the other one that did it for me.  he didn't hit him with all possible force thankfully, but it couldn't have been more intentional.  no reason to jump as he wasn't looking to block a pass, arms down, targeting indeed.

This is the one that bothered me the most as well. The Peppers PI was bad too, but I can understand getting calls wrong on the field. Unless I've completely misunderstood the rule, this seems to me to be the clearest case of targeting I've seen all year. The guy launched himself, headfirst, into Rudock's head. If that was missed on the field, okay. But it wasn't, and the replay guys apparently thought it was undeniably *not* targeting? Hard to believe.

F*** the Officials. They suck. They are horrible. I hope they all get fired. And I sincerely hope Harbaugh takes this up with B1G. Ridiculous how they almost beat us. The targeting calls are stupid. Holding calls are very random.

I know "conspiracy theoriez" are usually unsupported and obsessive but I honestly believe that refs try to create close games to get better ratings, PSU had no business being in that game in the 4th...

Michigan is now 0-6 on targetting calls.

2-2 against.

0 for FUCKING 4 against us.

I'm sorry, let me be more specific. 0-4 against Rudock.

How can a QB who jumps in the air, and the defender STILL managers to hit helmet to helmet NOT be targetting? Oh, its Zettel and he's a senior and it's senior day. Got it.

I hate this thread. I hate the officiating. For the first time in my life, I believe the officiating is completly awful and it's not me being biased.

I'm near the point of just believing that the big ten doesn't like Harbaughs sideline antics, and he's being penalized as a result of his berating the officials after every call, even though he's right at least half the time. The probability of the refs tilting so heavily against Michigan in every game seems well beyond chance when compared to what gets called against other teams.

Pretty obvious the refs have been killing Michigan all year. No targeting on them today but Boldin thrown into a QB and is given targeting

Kinda sick of these refs

WIllie Henry gets double teamed. He is basically just occupying 2 defernders as we sack the QB.

Defense holding on Henry. YUP.

Where can I apply as a ref? I'm all for getting paid good money to mess up at least 50 percent of the time and not get fired.

/Meteorologists don't coun't. As I don't want to be one.

/All refs are not this bad.

/Only refs against Michigan are bad which must be some crazy correlation.

/Maybe ony B1G refs that ref Michigan games?

/Insane

Even worse was half the offsides calls, Henry or another lineman didn't go into the Neutral zone, so it should've been a false start.  he can jump all he wants, if he doesn't go into the neutral zone the o-line can't flinch and get the call
