WSJ Trolls Michigan

Submitted by Rocket Scientist on

Today the WSJ ran suggestions on Spooky Sports Costumes, I didn't think any of them were as funny as the editors hoped.  Too Soon I say!!

"Halloween came two weeks early in Ann Arbor, Mich., when Michigan punter Blake O’Neill mishandled a punt that cost the Wolverines a game against rival Michigan State. Like other horrifying, unforeseen events that left the townspeople trembling and screaming in disbelief, this one is excellent costume fodder. For added effect, have your child drop every candy bar on the ground, fail to fall on it and then try to pick it up again, only to toss it to a nearby kid dressed as a goblin."

Yawn. Meanwhile, Blake O'Neill is the best player in the country at his position in his sport and can get any woman he wants.

Nah man, I'm just being real. I had a girlfriend lined up a year ago and then.....I infamously mentioned the SuperGuides and tried to explain mgoblog on a date. It went as well as you'd expect.

How do you "line up" a girlfriend? That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works.

Also, I remember you saying just a few days ago that you went on a "date" with a girl, tried telling her about the Super Guide, and she reacted predictably. That's a little different than having a girlfriend "lined up".

Also also, you don't learn what women like by being rejected. You learn what they like by doing what they like, and listening. That last part is pretty key.
