thanks for the heads up!  almost forgot!

Just bought in the 200 section, but my confirmation says "seating location will be assigned by point total in the price level you purchased".

Any idea what that means?

I took it to mean you are guaranteed seats in that section (in your case the 200s) but they are not handing out specific row and seat combos until the penn state sale is over, at which time they will assign rows and seats within each price range based on priority points.

That gives them time to figure out that you're a Michigan fan so that they can give you the worst seats possible. Kidding, sort of. But having zero points won't help your seat allocations if they use points as a basis for seat allocations, I'd assume. Sounds like fun regardless.

Going to be a heavy Michigan centric crowd for this. I don't know what PSU's NYC alumni base is like and then most of them probably don't care as much about bball/hockey as we do.

I bought my tickets at 10:27 through the PSU Ticket Office this morning. Tickets are going to be assigned via the PSU equivalent of "Priority Points" meaning that any Penn State Fan or Alum with season tickets or past purchase history from PSU will get better seats than a Michigan fan (it is their home game afterall).

I got the $130 tickets which are guaranteed to be between the baselines and between the blue lines for Hockey. A 12 pm tip and a 7pm puck drop is going to allow for a lot of debauchery between games...I'll be at Stout on W. 33rd with a crew of 7 other alums if anyone wants to get the rust off the ole' Yost chants! Chump, Dick, Wuss....

FWIW, the best part of being old hold with PSU this morning was the "Welcome Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines to Happy Valey for the annual white out game on Nov. 21st. Limited tickets remain." I can't wait to avenge the last 3 or 4 meetings in Happy Valley, especially after the 4 OT blunder with Fitz running 28 times for 28 yards two years ago...

Is there any sort of official Michigan delegation to this game? I would prefer to sit with Michigan fans (other than the ones I'm going with). It'd be nice if they reserved a small number of tickets for Michigan students, but I don't think that's happening.

Other thread is locked. LSA is a dumb head, leaving up the peppers thread IS supporting unsubstantiated rumors, stupid face!

What's that skank's name?  Lets publicize that and she how she likes it.  I mean, jersey chasers weren't known to be "wife-material" in my day and were the type that slept around every night of the week.  They never needed to change their sheets because they were never sleeping in their own bed.

Has anyone been to MSG and sat in the "bridge" section? I look them up on line and they seem kind of cool, but it's hard to tell what the view is actually like, especially with a big sheet of glass in front of you.

I already got my tickets, which were about $125.  I am really excited about this game.  But, I was also really excited for this game in 2009 and 2013 and confident as well, but this year feels diffeent.  Everytime I've been to State College to watch UM/PSU we have lost.  I am so sick of listening to my PA friends and can't wait to be proud of our team with a victory!
