I'm surprised. Not because I think Michigan deserved to fall into the 20's but because of our two losses.

we lose Rudock (and gain O'korn), Houma, Kerridge, Graham Glasgow, Ojemudia, Bolden, Jenkins-Stone, Morgan, Ross, and Blake O'neill

the depth at fullback and linebacker is thin, but this is probably less turnover than any other B1G team, and we don't lose any of our most important talent except for O'neill, who is the best punter in the B1G

we are looking mighty good for next year, if you ask me, but this season is still looking pretty good itself

Who cares? He has every right to say that. Every year we go into this game 5-0 4-1 overhyped by the media only to be beaten. IDC how.

Msu is overlooked every year. Dantonio does it again. Who cares. He can. He won.

Mike Harts comments forever in infamy...

Hart's comments were way beyond anything anyone ever said about MSU to the media. Especially a player of all people.

Makes sense he would pick on lowly MSU since OSU had his breakfast, lunch and dinner every year.

If you don't see how those comments paired with Dantonio's "pride before the fall" comments are eternally huge eggs on UM's face, then idk what to tell you.

MSU should have fallen a spot or two but oh well. They wont win in columbus, and we're still very much in the conf title and playoff hunt

Big ten title hunt, yes. Playoff hunt, no way. I mean, just to get to the title game, we need to win out and MSU needs to lose twice. OSU will beat them, but I do not think they will lose another one outside of that game.

Conference title perhaps but I am highly skeptical a 2 loss team makes it into the playoffs. MSU has to play @OSU and @Nebraska (sprinkle in a pesky Indiana and Penn State squad) so the potential for 2 losses is certainly there, though I would say unlikely. But as we have seen unlikely things do sometimes happen. Of course we have to take care of business by winning out, no easy task:

M is on the outside looking in. MSU needs to lose to OSU and one of Indiana, Nebraska, Maryland and Penn State, and then M needs to run the table.

It's possible, but I can't imagine the numbers look good. Rose Bowl is still on the table with a 7-1 record though.

Despite the fact that this doesn't really matter, this makes me feel much better because it confirms that objective, dispassionate viewers saw what I hoped was true:  that Michigan and MSU were roughly equally talented teams and MSU won what was essentially a toss-up game on a freak play.

As shitty as the fluke play was, it had so much press that the voters could not ignore the fact that Michigan had the game won.  Whereas they usually just vote based on the final score, they were all informed of the lucky Spartan win at UM, hence we did not drop like a rock.

We don't have much of a case for being ranked ahead of any of the teams above us, and I think we'd beat any of the teams below us more often than not. Oklahoma has been all over the place this year.

I was very worried about Penn State until last night. This is setting up very nicely for Michigan to be 9-2 going into the OSU game. If we are, then we should be just inside the top 10 and could have a very classic matchup on our hands.

Wow. I am surprised. After beating a ranked team, MSU does not move up. That shows what everyone who saw the game understood what happened. We stayed in the top 15 shows how highly we are regarded in the media. Pretty cool first year for Harbaugh.

it was a devastating way to lose because they didn't make a play so much as we made it for them, but if we can win our next four, then The Game offers an opportunity to put yesterday behind us. And FWIW, I think OSU will rough up MSU pretty good, so that will be nice.

A positive, seems like dymonte Thomas is kind of falling into place, I thought he played pretty good yesterday and for the season for the most part. Great athlete who seems to be improving

Some of my family members believe we lost on that play because durning college game day they had a picture of Christ and Harbaugh... This has gotten insane
