For the love of God, where did that thread go?
I was reading Tim's "Collapse" front page story when I noticed under the New section of the Mgoboard shortcuts a thread titled "Dillon Baxter coming to Michigan" with 0 replies. I clicked it, and it led me to Page Not Found, and now it's gone from the board.
Worst. Joke. Ever.
Anyone have any clue what the deal is?

I noticed that too. When I clicked on it, I got the Page not Found message. This is the second time today, the first one came back, though, so I hope this one does also.

I deleted it. The user "Buckeye" created it, and it was stupid. It basically said that Ohio State is interested in Baxter, and they own Michigan, lolz!!! It was nothing.
Neg bang his posts as you please.

He will be negged like never before.

Tom -
Obv., we have no new commitments. However, I'd like to see three things:
1) an update on the board, who has dropped out, been removed, and who we are currently in the running for.
2) Implications, particularly for UM, of the Carroll move from SC to Seattle. We all have seen Baxter's name ad nauseum. Are there any other potential recruits this affects?
3) Implications for Michigan of commitments elsewhere. With so many going to Univ. of Florida, do any uncommited recruits become more attracted to Michigan.

If anyone wants to take Tom's advice, here is a list of all of the posts he has commented on.

Dang it, I set aside 20 minutes to do some serious Buckeye negging, but when I clicked on the link it said "Access Denied". Stupid computer!

That's what happens when someone gets banned.

I was thinking the same thing, so now I'm refreshing the page every 10 seconds...

Stupid Buckeyes.

I can't +1 yet, but in spirit I am clicking the button.

That's what she said.

I was hoping someone would take the opportunity.

I'm sure he's like all the rest of those morons at osu who love to hate on other teams. I can already tell.

I can't imagine someone with "Buckeye" as their name makes themselves known that often.

I see many negative numbers in your future.

(given the imaginary nature of the story)
January 11th, 2010 at 6:58 PM ^
i = imaginary, right?

They use j... silly engineers. It's not jmaginary.
January 11th, 2010 at 9:28 PM ^
Why do they use j?!?
January 11th, 2010 at 10:32 PM ^
The i subscript is often reserved for nodes in a spatial discretization.
January 11th, 2010 at 10:42 PM ^
Don't blame all engineers. We in computer science, for example, really don't do any math at all :) (Okay, not true, for many but I myself don't do that much)
Electrical engineers are the only ones who use j as far as I know. Current is i and is slightly more fundamentally important to the field so sqrt(-1) got bumped to j.

I 3 science boys!

I'm going to do my part in Negulating that #$%*eye.

I had this same reaction when i first realized it was BS....
