I vaguely remember that in 1997 the set was inside the stadium for the Ohio State game.  I swear that Chris Fowler was talking to a bunch of us either before they went live or during a commercial break.  But I may be wrong.  Anyone else with a better memory than me recall that?

Game Day came to Ann Arbor one year for the OSU/UM game. They had the main set outside and then also one on the inside of the stadium, which, if I recall correctly, is where Lee put on the Brutus head.

That's funny -  I thought I remembered being upset Gameday wasn't at the Ohio State game that year.  I do remember that year Corso kept picking against us and at some point students throwing marshmallows at him during Gameday and the crew having to scramble to put up a net.

They were inside the stadium a couple times--they were set up on the field in the corner with people sitting in the stands behind them.

ND '03 was on the golf course, they've been in that area next to the "Buffalo Lot," and also on the Crisler concourse overlooking the Blue Lot, too.

I was definitely on TV well after the game ended with the Big House in the background. I can't recall if it was quite the same sort of Game Day as it is now, I wasn't there before the game.

Video or it didn't happen was lost somewhere in the early 2000s.

They set up on the North side of the stadium (student section corner) on the other side of the street in the lot there for one of the Ohio State games in the early 2000's - maybe the 100th game? But I think the problem is that, the lot now has stuff on it and any other lots are used for parking where they charge a lot of money, and get a lot of money, for people to park there. So they don't want to lose that by letting gameday setup there.

on an elevated covered stage as it still is. If you were to imagine it now, the location would have been off Main. Not sure how many times they visited that year. More than once. Each time, they came though the location moved, and Michigan I think bumped them off the stadium grounds to the golf course.
