Pumpkin pie is only in existence as a carrier for Cool Whip.

Cool Whip? Disgusting. Spend 5 minutes and whip up some heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla.
October 2nd, 2015 at 4:07 PM ^
Redi-Whip! Extra creamy! Super convenient!
October 2nd, 2015 at 4:13 PM ^
So it depends on if you made or bought the pie. Spend 90 minutes making and baking a pie, spend the 5 minutes to make real whipped cream. Buying a pie from somewhere? Pick up some Redi-Whip.
October 2nd, 2015 at 4:31 PM ^
OHHHH STAHP! You know what I meant. Any whipped cream of any form is better than plain ol pumpkin pie. Stop picking my nit.

my in-laws prefer Reddi-wip, but Thanksgiving at my house means my rules.

Stuff, head for Dairy Queen and get a Pumpkin Pie blizzard. They are great.
October 2nd, 2015 at 4:08 PM ^
its also for those who like sissy beers, but I digress.
Tonight will probably be a nice Founders Porter, but I'm breakin out this bad boy for gameday tomorrow...
October 2nd, 2015 at 4:43 PM ^
Pff... pumpkin ale isn't just for those you like sissy beers any more than Christmas ale or anything like that. They're approachable seasonal beers. Give me a good stout or something with an IBU that would take paint off a car. Hell, I even order sour beer sometimes.

No, pump-kin is what people from West Virginia do...
October 2nd, 2015 at 4:23 PM ^
Dude....get out of here.
That was a damn good joke.

It's funny. Someone said that in another beer drinking thread and got negged to hell about it. I guess timing is everything. On the record, pumpkin ale is delicious.

I'm partial to Pumking, but I like just about every pumpkin beer.

They are on a pretty level field for me.

Pumking is great. I like the bite that it has to it.

Leaving work in about 30, heading straight to the liqour store and picking up a 6-pack. Any suggestions? I'm in MD.

You cannot go wrong with pumpkin ale or Octoberfest this time of year.

it's made by Duclaw Brewing. Don't try it if you don't like peanut butter. http://duclaw.com/beer/sweet-baby-jesus/

SBJ was actually the beer that got me into the craft scene. Haven't had it since last year, so that's a great idea - thanks!

while you're at it!

That's a really tasty beer...but, man, more than one puts me into a sugar coma. It's delicious, but it's riiiiich.

I just had a few Union Jack IPAs in DC. I believe it's from California, but it was new to me and I liked it.
October 2nd, 2015 at 3:52 PM ^
It can get you just as drunk as any other beer. Why waste it?
October 2nd, 2015 at 3:59 PM ^
Because it tastes like rubbish.

That my friend is a shandy, not a beer. It may be the right taste for your palate, but can we refrain from classifying shandies as beer please?
October 2nd, 2015 at 3:53 PM ^
It's in the beer section. I call it beer.

I was asking if you had always been Australian and didn't express that in the past or whether you were trying to craft a different persona this time around by posting Australian stuff.

Out of curiosity how did you become a Michigan fan?
Also, I'm impressed with how many mgopoints you have accumulated in just a couple weeks. There's nothing suspicious about that at all.
