But with only 3 games being played, you're also looking at the end of last year, especially for teams whose key players from that team are still around.  Sure, OSU hasn't played anyone super impressive this year, but we know that 9 months ago that (nearly) identical team won the national championship.  It would be stupid if that didn't count for something.

I don't see how they jumped so high honestly. Even with 5 turnovers, 3 of them deep on Alabama's side of the field, they needed TWO miracle plays to win by 6. That high snap was the absolute luckiest play I have ever seen.

LSU runs all over an Auburn team that hasn't stopped anyone all year and couldn't stop anyone last year.

Worrying about polls is a total waste given the new playoff system. I haven't looked at them in a long time. The polls still do the stupid crap they've always done. If you lose, you drop (Alabama is better than what they're ranked now). If you win, you stay or even move up (Missouri had 2 awful games against Arkansas St. and UConn the last 2 weeks).

Why is that? I think Michigan being so poor in recent years has done nothing to hurt OSU and MSU. There were a lot of bad politics here that contributed to that futility and Carr was a part of that, whether people feel attached to him or not.

Going to Lincoln is no gimmie, but it also isn't a "tough" game on Sparty's schedule. It's three weeks after playing here, after a BYE week, and sandwiched between two cupcakes. The fear factor is a 5 at best. Sparty doesn't have OH's schedule, but it's probably down to UM to beat them before they play in Columbus.
