Building a tailgate group

Submitted by bmr4242 on

It is great meeting new people each week and even better to see those you get to know. This year we moved to Pioneer for the first time (losing all our GC friends) and would like to invite any MGoTailgaters who are looking for a place to tailgate to join! We have bags, music, grill etc. BYOB&F but feel free to throw it on the grill. We are parked in a reserved spot so it isn't hard to find us, but there are plenty of spots around you can drive up and park in. We arrive around 6am get the tent table etc set up and get the music going before breakfast.I know the weather isn't looking great this weekend but we will be there and hopefully see some of you guys! Email me at [email protected] and we can coordinate any details.

Making the trip over from the UM Golf Course is a bit of a trip, otherwise this sounds like an awesome idea!  Maybe I'll head over one time during the season on a 3:30 game, it'd be cool to meet a lot of you!

I'd love to experience tailgating before a Michigan game sometime. My girlfriend and I are 21 year old seniors at a small University in the Upper Peninsula. Im trying to swing it so that we can make it to the BYU game for her first Michigan football experience. She is a converted Sparty fan, so I hope she gets the full experience during her first visit to The Big House. I often regret not attending the University of Michigan. Unfortunately, I was naive when it came to deciding which University I wanted to attend. I placed more emphasis on off-campus recreational opportunities than I did quality of education. How foolish of me.. I often wonder, "What if?" Anyways, we'd love to join anyone willing to host us!

That is a great idea and its awesome that the group comes together more. If I were down more often than an infrequent two maybe three games a year I would absolutely stop by. Good on you though for putting this together.
